A few photos from my trip :)
I've been home for a couple of days and though it's wonderful to be home, the stress of being back at work has kicked in and I still have not been able to catch up on all my sleep or all the work that's collected on my desk while I've been away. :{ Sydney was being VERY cute the past couple of days and wouldn't leave my side - whenever I got up to go anywhere my fuzzy shadow was right behind me. :)

Got some wonderful news while I was in LA - Julie Dixon Jackson told me that she was going to be in the Saddleback CLO production of Babes In Arms in August. :) She also told me that she was going to try to see Guys & Dolls on Saturday night after rehearsals, but sadly I opted to skip out on Guys & Dolls that night to see Once on This Island instead (although according to Kevin, it didn't look like she was able to make it down to see the show after all.) Although I'd love to see her in Babes In Arms - I don't think I'll be able to afford another trip out that way so soon. :(

Speaking of Julies - Kevin told me that Julie Ann will be guest starring in an episode of "The Inside" on the 27th of July. I asked him if she had a big role or if it was like "Alias" where she was on the screen for all of 5 minutes and kills herself before the opening credits. ;) He told me her part is pretty big and that she plays a completely insane character - a real departure from anything we've seen her in before. I'm REALLY looking forward to it! :)

And because I had a bit of insomnia last night, I've finally uploaded a few photos of my recent trip.

Bets Malone (Miss Adalaide) and Kevin. Bets was the sweetest person and made it a point of coming up to me after each show to give me a hug and thank me for coming. :) She was one of the best things about the show - her Miss Adalaide was hysterical! :)

Another highlight of the show was Tami Tappan Damiano (who played Sarah Brown - Kevin's love interest in the show) Not only was her voice beautiful, but her drunken "If I Were A Bell" was my favorite moment of the show. :D

Nick, Kevin, and Steve Glaudini posed for a photo for me after the Sunday evening show. Nick's direction of the show was fabulous - his strict attention to detail paid off and the production was so much better than any other production of Guys & Dolls that I had ever seen.

Here I am with Laura and Bobbie at the fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis. It was SO nice to see everyone! :)

It was really nice to see and catch up with Chad again. Notice his recently shaved head and his goatee (he said that he looked forward to us telling him how much we hated it.) ;) After all these years he's still very much the same warm person I'd always known him to be and he seems so much more at peace with himself than I've ever seen him.

The wonderful Friday night I spent with my East Coast buddies (L-R) Laura, me, Sharon, Pat (gigglets), and Terry after Guys & Dolls (and shortly before we moved our party outside to the parking lot. ;)

Well, I'd better run, I have to update Julie Ann's site with information on her guest spot on "The Inside" and I'm currently working on doing some research for a possible new site that I'm thinking of creating... :) Hope you're all having a nice week. :D Big *HUGS* to you all! :D

Oh! I like "If I Were a Bell!" That's a great song!

It's one of my favorite songs in the show. :D Tami did an excellent job with it and her rendition was probably the best that I'd ever seen!

Awww, Doug - you're too kind - but I have to agree about the lovely people I take photos with! I adore my East Coast buddies - we've been through SO much together and they're just SUCH wonderful people. I already miss them! :(

I'm pretty disappointed that I won't be seeing Julie in "Babes In Arms" :( - she'll make a great Bunny. :)

Welcome back, Sheri. :)

Sorry to hear that you have so much to do at work and I hope that the thoughts of the nice time in LA make it easier. And it's great to have such a fuzzy shadow, isn't it?

Thanks for sharing the photos. I loved to look at them. You truly look great. And I'm still a bit surprised to see how much your friend Bobbie looks like one of my cousins.

Hope you had a nice day.

Big *hugs* to you

Thanks so much, Sabine! :) And I have to agree, I don't know what I'd do without my little fuzzy shadow following me all over the house. :) Does Micki follow you from room to room too? And if she follows you, does Garry follow too?

And how interesting that Bobbie looks just like your cousin! :) Your cousin must be very stunning!

Hope you're having a nice week, Sabine! Big *HUGS* to you, Garry, and Micki!

For the most part Micki follows me when we are in somebody else's apartment. At home she will do it when she thinks that I leave the apartment. Otherwise she has an easy job - often you can find her lying in the corridor because from there she can look in every other room. :)

Mostly, Garry follows Micki and at the moment we are very quick when we leave the apartment. Sometimes he also follows me but only because he tries to catch my toes. Perhaps he thinks that there mice in my slippers. :)

Hope you had a nice day, Sheri. Big *hugs* back to you and Sydney

Awww, thanks Karen! :) The only thing about wonderful theatre trips like this is that now I'm going through theatre withdrawal! :P

Thanks Gill! :) And it is hard getting back to work! :P Don't get me wrong, I completely love my job, but wouldn't it be nice to get paid to travel around and see shows? *SIGH*

Hahaa..okay, I don't love my job, but I know what you're saying (and I'm glad you do :))

That would definitely be a career I would enjoy. If I just win the lottery....

I am so glad you had such a good time! My trip was fun, too...thanks so much for your good wishes on my departure (and sorry I couldn't respond to them sooner). I'll look for Julie on "The Inside", which I have found to be a pretty good show. Give Sydney a hug for me! :)

Glad you're home safely, Rachel! Sorry I missed you in LA! :( My hubby's been watching "The Inside" as well and he really enjoys it too! :D Thanks for keeping an eye out for Julie. :D
