First of all....
...I wanted to thank you all for your good thoughts and prayers for Susan's dog Toby. :) She called me over the weekend and told me that she took him home from the hospital and that he was recuperating nicely at home. :) I'm SO thankful!! One thing I do understand is the helpless feeling of seeing your pet so weak and ill and not being able to make them feel better. :( Thank you all so much for your good thoughts - they really must've worked!!

On another very good pet news note, my boss (the one who sadly lost her dog a few months ago) brought a new puppy home last weekend. And very similar to a new baby in the house, she and her daughter have been taking turns getting up at night when the puppy cries. Aside from being a little tired because of it, my boss and her family are so in love with the newest addition to their family. :) I'm so happy for them because I know that they'll give this puppy a lot of love and they really deserve some happiness. :)

On a trip note, I finally have all my shows lined up for my May trip. :) I will be seeing:

Sat matinee - Grease at Fullerton Civic Light Opera (to see Bets!)
Sat eve - Grease at Fullerton Civic Light Opera (to see Bets!)
Sun matinee - Little Egypt at the Matrix Theatre (to see Misty)
Sun eve - Me Too at the Stella Adler Theatre (with Linda - YAY!!)

Should be a fun trip!! :) I'm very excited about it. :)

A lot of other things going on... :( And I'm sorry I have no energy to write about them here. :( So I apologize if I haven't been around all that much lately. RL has gotten the better of me for the past few days. :P *HUGS*

I'm so glad too!!! I was SO worried about him! Thanks so much for all your good thoughts and prayers, Angela - they were so appreciated!! :)

You are so lucky that Kahlua was such a good puppy!! Sydney used to cry too as a puppy and I remember having to wake up to sit with her. But I think I tend to block those things out of my mind when I see a cute puppy - all I can think of is, "Awwww! I want to take her home!!" ;)

YAY Toby!!!!!! :)

Yeah, new puppies are wonderful and fun, but the crying at night is a little tiring. However, we've gotten to the point (this is when he's several months old) where we have to let Chewie "self soothe"... he was crying several times a night and I think part of that was because he knew his crying would get us to come. He cries much less now that we started having him stay in the kennel all night, as long as we get up at a reasonable hour to let him out in the morning. :) (He still cries during T-storms regardless of whether we come or not.)

I'm SO happy that Toby is okay!!! I was SO worried about him! :(

Having just gone through the puppy stage yourself, I know that you uderstand all too well, Laura! I think Sydney's crying at night was one of the reasons that she ended up sleeping in our bed. ;) Not that I mind, though - I don't know what I'd do without my fuzzy little backrest. ;)

I'm very happy that Toby feels better! :) And a new puppy for your boss sounds very good to me. :) Hope they all will be happy and will have much joy together. Do you know what kind of dog it is? It looks like that I was lucky - neither Lauser nor Micki ever whined during the night.

Hope everything is alright in RL. Always there for you, please think of it. Big *hugs* and much *love* back to you, Sheri.

Sabine!! Thanks for all your good thoughts for Toby, hey really must've worked!! I'm just so relieved for Susan!! And Micki and Lauser were really good puppies!! Sydney cried a bit in the beginning, but thankfully it was only for a short time. :)

You've always been such a great, supportive friend to me, Sabine and you know I've always appreciated it!! Big *HUGS* and much love to you!!

You're going to see more plays in one weekend than I will this year :)

Haha! It's my embarrassing theatre addiction. ;) It's not only embarrassing, it's pocket draining too. :P I wish there was some kind of support group that I could join to get rid of my addiction! ;)

There is no cure for the love of the theater.

Thank goodness.

I'm so amazed by how many times you fly - it's great! And exhausting, I'd imagine. But what fun!! :)

It's very exhausting!!! But oh-so-worth it! I know I should just probably move to LA, the amount of times that I'm there! ;) Yay for your upcoming trip in August too!! :D
