This is what I love about live theatre...
On Thursday night, Mark & I had the good fortune of seeing "Cinderella" at our local Diamond Head Theatre. As one would expect, the audience was filled with families with very young children. During a particularly sweet scene, a little girl sitting right in front of us (she couldn't have been more than five years old) let out a LOUD and completely spontaneous "Ewwwwwww!" just as the Prince leaned in to kiss his mother on the cheek. It was so loud, in fact, that the actors on stage, as well as the rest of the theatre heard her and suddenly the theatre errupted in laughter,... even the actors were unable to control their smiles. It was such a hysterical and precious moment that I will never forget. :)

My apologies for not having been here this week... The holidays and my job have taken a HUGE toll on my internet time lately!! This week was the first week that I was completely emmersed in my new job... and all I have to say is that if it continues at this pace, I may not be able last... I can REALLY see how this job takes its toll on a person and how it's IMPOSSIBLE to have children in this position... Heck, I barely see Mark anymore. :( In fact, I see my BIG boss much more than anyone else these days (and that includes Mark!!) :P I guess it'll just take some time to get used to... :P For now, though my daily thought is... "Can I have my old job back?" :P

So... as far as the holidays are concerned - even with all of my good intentions, no gifts have been purchased, no cards have been ordered or sent... I'm WAAAAAY behind on the holiday stuff this year and for once, it's not procrastination that's the culprit... it's my damn job! :P If I just had one night where I was allowed to come home before 10:30pm, I might be able to get something done...

Enough of this... I'm VERY thankful for my job (I do love it, no matter how much I complain) and I'd never want anyone to think that I'd ever take it for granted... It's just that sometimes it can get to feel a little overwhelming... :P

Hope you all are well!! I'm off to catch up on all your entries and then get ready to head back to the office this morning. Oh, joy! ;) Hope you all have a lovely Saturday!!

I'm really sorry that your job keeps you so busy. :( I hope that sometime soon it'll get easier. We all know you are very grateful for your job. You are allowed to say how stressful it is w/o people thinking you aren't grateful you know? If you ever need to talk about the daily stress, you know I'll listen.

I'm glad you and Mark got to see a play. :) Please try to take some time for yourself. Don't over do it, Sheri. *BIG HUGS* I've missed you so much! Love you. :)

Thank you so much for your comment and your supportive words, Carrie!! You're such a wonderful friend!! :) It was really nice to spend Thursday evening with Mark seeing a show - it seems like I hardly get to see him anymore! :P

I've missed you too!! Will I see you in Jan? Big *HUGS* and much love to you!!

I'm glad you got to go out and do something with Mark. I bet that was a very cute moment when that little girl did that. :)

I hope you do get some time for yourself, and some Mark time as well. HUGS! Try to take it easy when you can. Love ya.

It was SUCH a cute moment and really reminded me how spontaneous, and inactive theatre is - which is why I love it so much. :) And it was definitely nice to spend some time with Mark - since I barely got the chance to spend any time with him this past week. :P

Thanks so much for your comment, Laura!! You've always been such a wonderful friend to me. :) Big *HUGS* and much love to you!!

Anything that takes away from internet time is bad.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?! Coming home after 10:30pm every day? You have to stop this trend immediately! Honestly, I'm worried if you continue to work like this. I hope it will ease up soon. Hugs!

In all fairness, one of the nights I came home after 10:30 was because we went to the show... but still -- the other days were all work. :P I'm not sure if this is how it'll be on a constant basis or if it'll ease up... :P

Thanks so much for your comment!! *HUGS*

*Hugs*I wish I would be such a little Heinzelmaennchen (They are the secret people here, a highly talented and industrious lot who came out of their hiding places at night to do the work, or chores, of deserving humans) and could do something to help you. To me too coming home from work after 10:30 pm every day sounds bad. I hope this will change soon so that you can spend time for yourself and Mark. Please take care of yourself! And don't worry, I think we all know that you are thankful for your job. Always there for to listen / to talk with you.

I'm glad that you and Mark got to see "Cinderella" and this little girl sounds too cute, it made me smile, too. :)

Have a wonderful Sunday, Sheri! Big *hugs* and much love to you!

Thanks so much for your comment, Sabine!! And the Heinzelmaennchen sound very similar to our menehune here in Hawaii. :) I wish I had some of them to do my work too. ;) Hopefully this is just the early stages of my job and it'll calm down soon. Thanks so much for your encouraging comments!!:)

Hope you have a nice week, Sabine!! Love you lots!! :)
