A BIG, heartfelt thank you to everyone...
Just wanted to express our deepest gratitude for all your lovely messages, emails, VMs, and ecards that Mark & I received yesterday. We were extremely amazed at the outpouring of love and support we received both here and on MySpace - we're quite certain that we are truly blessed with the greatest friends imaginable.

Thank you so much to everyone, not only for your kind messages and sweet thoughts yesterday and for being so supportive throughout Sydney's long illness, but for understanding just what she meant in our lives. We certainly miss her, but we are comforted in the fact that we spent ten wonderful years with her.

I will definitely answer all your wonderful comments to my entry below when I get home from work this evening.

Big HUGS and much love to everyone,
Sheri & Mark

I just read that other post and answered to that one. As a dog owner, I can certainly relate to what our furry friends mean to us. People often ask what Into means to us and I find it very difficult to explain. He is just a member of the family and losing him would be a big tragedy.

You know what my parents said to me when I told about Into? They said it will hurt so much then some day when he is gone (it was so sad when our sheltie passed away, they never wanted to experience that again)... I know it will hurt a lot when that time comes. But then again, if we didn't have him now, then we also wouldn't have all these wonderful moments we experience now. And no memories then later...

So my advice is to cherish all those memories of Sydney, cry when you feel like crying and... well, little by little you will feel a bit better. I know, I have been there. But, it will take time and of course, Sydney will always have a special place in your hearts.
