I've been having the strangest sleep schedule. :P
I slept through almost the entire day on Saturday -- which was partially due to the fact that while hubby brought home a lot of wonderful things from Japan (including himself, of course!) he also brought home a flu bug. :( I've been feeling as though I'm coming down with it, which may account for my hibernation on Saturday.

However, being that I slept through the day on Saturday, I ended up staying up the entire night following it... :P Which was fine because I had a lot of web work to catch up on, and I avoided being awake and irritable during the hottest times of the day... :P But now, it's almost 11pm and I can't figure out if I'm tired and need to sleep and I don't know if I can ever get back on any kind of normal sleep schedule or if I'll be able to wake up in time for work tomorrow morning. ;P So, in a nutshell, I'm a mess. :P

The good news in all of this, however, is that Mark is finally home! Yay! :) He brought back a ton of great things to eat - including freshly made ARARE - which I adore! He also bought a mini stuffed sheltie, which I took to work and is now sitting on my desk in my office. :) He had lots of stories to tell about the wonderful food he ate there and actually gained 7 1/2 pounds on his two and a half week trip. :P I'm just glad to have him home - flu bug and all... :)

Tonight I watched the CBS evening movie "Sweet Nothing In My Ear", which was based on a play by Stephen Sachs. Aside from the strange way some of the deaf actors were voiced (almost mystically) with voice-overs, it was an okay movie. I was shocked to see Darrin Revitz (who I'd met during "Zanna") in the movie (she played the mother of a little boy named David - who received an implant). I think the thing that made me the happiest was the ad at the end of the show that said that one of my favorite movies, "Love Is Never Silent" is finally going to be released on DVD. :)

I'm off to try to get some sleep - and hopefully wake up with my alarm in the morning... :P Hope you've all had a nice weekend!

The stuffed Sheltie was SUCH a cute gift!! I took it to work and all the girls were telling me, "We like Mark!" :)

My sleep schedule has been weird too. I need to get back to one soon!

I watched the movie, and agree with the voice overs a bit. I liked it okay, but theending could have been better.

I totally agree with you about the ending - it ended a bit too "easy" for me... The voice-overs were just weird!

I HATE BEING OFF MY NORMAL SLEEP SCHEDULE! It makes the whole day feel out of wack.

It was pretty awful trying to get back on track - especially because I had a ridiculously early flight to Maui last week that I had to wake up for... :P

I recorded the TV movie but I haven't watched it yet. Voice over for deaf actors? I bet the deaf community is mad about it ;-)

I hope you can get your normal sleeping pattern back soon!

The voice-overs were really strange... Shoshana Stern and Deanne Bray were in the movie as well - both didn't sign, though - Shoshanna played a woman who received an implant and Deanne played a hard of hearing social worker / counselor. Both spoke all of their lines and did not sign at all.
