Too much celebratory eating! :P
Went out to brunch today with the in-laws. We went to a really great buffet at Ihilani Resort - they have a lot of exotic dishes that I'm not always fond of but I did enjoy their traditional breakfast fare (which included my favorite - extra crispy bacon!) since breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day. :) It was a belated birthday celebration for me and my sister-in-law, Julie (who was born on New Year's Eve) - I guess it goes to show you how busy we all are if it took us four months to get together to celebrate. :P

A lot of time this weekend was spent just talking with Mark :) - in fact on Friday night we stayed up until 1am or so just talking about random things and enjoying each other's company. I think that's one of the things I love most about our relationship, we can talk about anything and we never run out of things to say. :) It worried me the other day when my friend Susan asked me what Mark & I talk about because she and Fredrick don't have anything to say to each other. :( I guess each couple is different, but that still worried me a little...

And after the awful tax season the past few months at work, I definitely feel a little burnt out. :P In a way, the May NYC trip would have come at the perfect time. All my friends are still going to be there, though and as much as I try not to let it get me down, sometimes I can't help it. :(

Speaking of theatre, NYC, and more things I won't get to see ;) - Kevin will be heading "Millie's" Easter Bonnet show tomorrow night to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. I've got my best "break a leg" vibes going their way :) and I'll be anxiously awaiting the results. :)

Hope everyone has a nice evening. :)

Celebratory eating! Yes!! *slurp*

I think you & Mark are one of the neatest couples I know. :D

I love it when Fred & I do like you & Mark did -- talk talk talk about everything and nothing. It really warms my heart.

I thought of you on Friday night when I was at the retirement dinner. There was another party going on next door & it was an accounting office celebrating that they had lived thru April 15th.

Celebratory eating is wonderful, but too much = extra days at Curves for me! ;)

I think those are some of the best times I've had with Mark too. :) I just feel really lucky to have found him - he really is my other half. :)

And woo hoo for April 15th parties! :) We're having one for work - it's a weekend getaway in May - I'm SO looking forward to it! :)

I understand your worry about your friend Susan. It is, to me, one of the best parts within a relationship when you can talk about anything with your partner. Glad to hear that you and Mark can do it. :)

Hope you had a nice day. *Hugs* :)

I think that Susan's question surprised me more than anything else. I know that not every relationship is the same, but for some reason it just saddened me that they don't have anything to say to each other. :(

Hope your day is going well too! *HUGS*
