Yucky sleep schedule and some theatre YAYs! :)

First of all, thank you to everyone who posted a comment in my last entry...

I didn't really sleep too well last night - I kept waking up every few hours - which was very annoying. :P I ended up giving up at about 2am and just stayed up and read. The problem was when I finally got tired and felt like I could sleep, it was already 4:30am and I needed to get up and get ready for work. :P

It's a good thing today was a calm day in the office. Our BIG boss was out the entire day and the other bosses were out for various meetings, appointments - so it was basically all of us "pions" left there today. :) Sometimes that's fun too - and that's when we find out a lot about what's going on. ;)

The next big thing at work is planning our annual "Tax-Busters" party - in which all the branch personnel who gave our reps referrals during tax season could qualify to attend a HUGE party at Ihilani Resort (which our department is throwing) in May. Each of the qualifiers get an all expense paid suite at the Ihilani Resort too - which normally runs a few hundred dollars. :P It's a pretty big event - last year over 200 people qualified and attended. This is the first year I'll be involved in the planning side of things - when I was in the field all I needed to do was just show up with our branch qualifiers, so it should be a lot of fun this year. And it's become sort of a "Yay the tax season is over" party for the back office! :)

Speaking of celebrations - Woo hoo! Congratulations to Kevin and the cast of "Millie" for placing 3rd in the Easter Bonnet Competition last night! :) YAY! :) I'm so happy since I knew how hard Kevin worked on putting their skit together this year (he headed up this year's Easter Bonnet show for Millie). :) Yay Kevin! :)

And more good news, "Millie" is hanging in there with their numbers this week. :) They were down to an attendance percentage of 79.7%, but attendance at every show was a little down this week. It was really good considering that it out-grossed a few shows and was closer to the middle of the list this week. :) Go "Millie!" Hopefully they can keep up the numbers through the summer! :)
