First of all...
...I have to say I have some of the best darn LJ friends around (if I do say so myself!) Your comments, emails, e-cards, etc. were so greatly appreciated and really touched my heart. Big *HUGS* to all of you! :)

Been spending a lot of my time at Curves recently (YAY!) and in the produce section of the market trying to cook and eat healthier. If anything, the past few days have made me more serious about getting back to a healthier lifestyle - which is a really good thing, no matter how I look at it. :)

Work has been okay - I hate the uncertainty of a new position and these first few days are very trying for me and my boss. The learning curve for my new job is pretty steep and I just hope he has the patience to see me through it.

And I've finally made some peace with the fact that I won't be going to NYC in May. Yes, I'm still a little sad that I won't be seeing "Assassins", although in my eyes nothing could compare to seeing Kevin in the LA version. After all my planning snags it just seemed that this trip was just not meant to be. :(

I'm still planning on going to NYC with my Mom in July - though I just found out from Susan Egan's website that she'll be out the weekend we'll be there. :( It might be interesting to see her understudy - since I've never seen an understudy go on as "Millie" the 10 times that I've seen the show (Yes, I've seen it 10 times...so far) :P I have, however, been very consistent in getting to see Jimmy understudies - I have no idea why. :P As long as I don't get a Graydon understudy, I'll be happy. :D

Hope you all have a nice evening. I'm off to finally try to get some sleep. *HUGS* to you all! :)

I'd bet money on the Assassins run being extended. yup, the show is that good. a big ole wow! and which dates were you going to be in NYC again...I'm trying to do out my calendar into July and I wanted to be able to leave a little time open to come see Millie. :)

That's right! You saw it already, huh? Ahhhhh! :) Any details? ;) How was Denis O'Hare? And all it would have to really do is extend one week past the actors' contract dates - just ONE WEEK! :P

And I'll be in NYC July 7-13th. I'm thinking of possibly catching the Millie matinee on 10th OR possibly the 11th - it depends on what other shows we're going to see. :) Let me know, though because I'd love to meet up with you again! :)

I'll send you an email about Assassins. I have a lot to say, and today I don't have much time to say it. the entire cast was amazing. the direction was awesome, but I still want to see Joe Montello get back on stage as an actor. the staging was amazing. the fact that we were in the fourth row of tables was amazing. maybe great, but no, amazing. more later....

also, in re: July....hmmmm.....okay, let me juggle a few things and I'll get back to you. are you going to two-fer Millie? I was thinking of going that route, if tickets aren't selling out. it'll also save me a few bucks.

Can't wait to hear about it! It's one of my favorite musicals - and I've never seen it fully staged before. *SIGH* Just one week they need to extend... ONE LOUSY WEEK! ;)

Denis O'Hare? I wonder if we are related!

Haha! :) Maybe a long lost uncle or something? ;) ;)

Wooooooooah Sheri, were you up at 1 a.m.? o_O

Then again look at me, I came home from class a few hours ago and I'm still up. *L*

I'm happy you're feeling better. I guess I shouldn't mention what I put in the fridge to soak overnight... ;-)

Hahaha! Isn't it weird to see me up past midnight? ;) Don't know what got into me last night - just looked at the clock and realized it was 1am all of a sudden. :P

Feeling a little less Blah today - but tell me, what's soaking in your fridge? You've got me curious! :)

I've seen Millie understudies twice. :)

First I saw Susan Haefner, and boy am I glad I did. She's become a good friend and a great mentor for me. Also she's incredibly talented and made a wonderful Millie.

More recently I saw Megan Campbell. At first I wasn't sure I liked her as Millie but she got better as the show went on.

So yay understudies!
Cristin :)

I wish I'd seen Susan in the role - a lot of people have nice comments about her performance. :) I'm looking forward to seeing Megan Campbell - I haven't really heard too much about her performance on message boards and I'm curious to see her take on the role. :)

And understudies are wonderful! As much as I love Angela Christian, I'm curious to see Jessica in the role of Miss Dorothy - that I haven't been able to see yet, either. :)

Jess is a GREAT Miss Dorothy! I saw her more than once and was way impressed. :)

I'm glad you are feeling better about yourself. :)

Thanks Laura. :) I'm not sure if I feel all that much better about myself, but I sure do feel I'm on the road to being healthier - and that certainly helps. :)

Awwww... *HUGS!* Thanks, Sheri! *tear*. =) I'm grateful to have friends like you, too =)

You're so sweet! :) *HUGS*

Oh yes, I also should try to get a healthier lifestyle, esp. if I think of the meals. I dislike very much to cook but, perhaps, it's possible to find something what is done quick, is healthy and tasty. :)

I'm glad that you are feeling better and I hope you had a nice day. :) You are a wonderful friend, Sheri. I'm thankful that I've met you. *Hugs*
Sherishutterbug93 on April 28th, 2004 12:21 am (UTC)
I'm the worst when it comes to cooking - I hate it! ;) I've been throwing some quick salad type things together for lunch lately (which is quick and tasty) and made some broccoli and asparagus the other day. I hope I'm able to keep this up. :)

And thanks so much Sabine for all that you've done for me, please take care and please give Lauser a big *HUG* for me too! :) *HUGS*

Yay for Curves!!! Yay!!!

I got your e-mail and will be writing back shortly. It's been one of "those" days.
Sherishutterbug93 on April 28th, 2004 12:23 am (UTC)
Yay for Curves! :D However, my location will be closed for the next three days for some kind of renovation. :( Phooey. :(

Thanks for your email! :)
ajayne on April 28th, 2004 06:58 am (UTC)
Awe, that's a shame that your location will be closed for a few days. I need to get myself there... but after work, I just can't drag myself there. And before work, I can't get going early enough. Grrrr!
