excitedI was a little depressed that we had canceled our plans but when I called Delta to ask about my flight they said that if I'm using FF miles I won't have to pay a fee to switch the dates of my travel - as long as I don't change the routing of my flight. To my surprise, Mark said he really wanted to see Millie before it closed (my Mom was unable to go in June) and he said that we should go up for closing weekend... So I changed my reservations (at no cost) AND found him a pretty decent airfare! I guess now we're going to "Millie's" closing night! :D I'm so excited!
Another thing that made my day really special was that a couple of my co-workers took me to lunch to congratulate me for passing the 24. :) It was SO sweet of them - and it was completely unexpected! They asked me if I wanted to join them for a "girl's lunch day" (since we've had a large influx of new male co-workers recently). So I agreed to go thinking we were all just going for the sake of female office bonding... But when the check came, they refused to let me pay saying it was a congratulations for passing my exam. How sweet of them! I really love my co-workers - they're all so wonderful! :) They actually make going to work such a pleasure! :)
