My class :)

Class was wonderful today, even though I was the only one who showed up for the second half. :P I'd forgotten how exhilarating it could be to do something creative for a change. At the bank, I'd gotten so used to working with numbers and figures (which is totally NOT me at all! - I'm the one who took Logic in college to get out of having to take college math!) :P that I'd forgotten how wonderful it was to be able to do something that I actually love. :)

In keeping with all my excitement this morning, I finally made a commitment to take my CIW web exams. I'd been going back and forth on whether or not I should take it, but since it's included with my tuition, I really don't have anything to lose. I also ended up spending a bunch of money on two books from Amazon.Com to help me prepare for them. I have my first exam scheduled for September 18th! :O It's been about eight months since I've taken the classes that will be covered on the first exam and I'm afraid that I've forgotten everything and I'll have to start studying from scratch. :P

On a completely different note, Mark & I are entering week 4 of our diet & exercise plan. :) Just yesterday we moved up to the next higher intensity work out segment and boy were we exhausted! :P The nice thing is that today we were both able to tell the huge difference in our energy levels. :) What I really love about this plan is that it isn't a fad diet or an "easy way" to lose weight (which would only cause us to gain it all back right away). It's A LOT of hard work and discipline, and it's more of a lifestyle change than a diet. :) With just two weeks to go, I have a good feeling that we'll actually make it through to the end. :)

And on a theatre note: YAY! Happy Birthday to "Avenue Q!" :) *SIGH* I love John Tartaglia! And Stephanie looks so great in the photo! :)
