Scrapbooks, "West Wing", and Dogster.Com
Spent almost all of my day working on completing the gift scrapbooks for my co-workers. I'm about a third of the way there - and hopefully I'll be able to finish them in time (Tuesday's my deadline!) :P I love creating scrapbooks, but I'd forgotten just how time-consuming it was!

While I worked on them, I managed to watch almost half of the first season of "West Wing" on DVD. :) I'm completely in love with the show! I love the writing - which is extremely witty & intelligent and very touching at times... And I suppose it helps that the show is politically slanted in my direction. ;) My favorite episode is the "Census" episode (I believe it's called "Mr. Willis of Ohio") and I was SO happy to see that it was included on the DVD that I have. :)

And after hearing about Dogster.Com from carrieh (thanks, Carrie!), I finally got around to registering Sydney. :) It's a cute idea, kind of like Friendster, but for our lovable pets. I made Sydney a Dogster web page of her own, here:

If your dog is registered at Dogster, please let me know so I can add them to Sydney's friend list. :)

Well, I'm off to grab the fuzzy dog and crawl into bed. Hope you're all having a nice weekend. :)

What do you put into the scrap-books?

I only took a short look but Dogster.Com seems to be a nice idea. I do love the photos of Sydney, she really is an adorable dog. :)

Hope you also have a nice weekend.

*Hugs* to you and Sydney :)

For these scrapbooks I usually just put in messages from the office staff, their photos, and a collection of some photos I had taken over the time that I've known the three of them. I'm so sad to see them all leave! :(

You should sign Lauser up on Dogster.Com :) It's a great way to share pictures of him and meet other dog owners in the process. :) And signing up is free. :)

*HUGS* to you and Lauser, hope you had a nice weekend too, Sabine! :)

Good luck on finishing the scrapbook! I know that you'll do it! :)

Knowing Amanda, I'm sure that she has registered our huskies on Dogster. I tried searching for them but I couldn't seem to find them.

Thanks, Tom! :) I hope I finish them too! :)

I tried searching for your Huskies too, but I couldn't find them - but did you know that there are 13 Siberian Huskies on Dogster named Sasha? :)

Hope you guys are doing okay... Please give a big hug to Amanda for me!

I know you'll be able to finish by Tuesday. :)

Sydney's pictures on dogster are so cute. :)

I hope the rest of your weekend is great.

Thanks for the encouragement, Carrie! :) I was getting a little worried yesterday when I hadn't even finished one book! :P

Thanks for checking out her Dogster profile. :) I guess the photos that I have up aren't new to anyone here (they're my icon photo, etc.) I love just going there and browsing through the different dogs, though. It's very interesting! :) Saw Brock there too! :)

Hope you're having a nice weekend too. :)

I had a look at Dogster, it is a nice idea. And Sydney's photos were adorable as always.

Not many Finnish Lapphunds registered there, too bad.

You wanted to see photos of Into, can I send by e-mail anywhere?

It is a cute idea. :) You should register Into - that's a nice way to be able to upload photos to the internet and we could all learn more about Finnish Lapphunds - because you're right, there aren't many registered there at all! :(

You can email me photos of Into - I always love seeing them! :) (shutterbug93@yahoo.com) :) Thanks so much! :)

ah....the West Wing....
the first season of TWW is the best, IMHO. and, my favorite episode is "Celestial Navigation," mostly because of all the men on television at the moment, Josh is the one I wish existed in real life because I love him madly and passionately. I think he's without question the sexiest man on television....no one even comes close to being second....well, except for maybe Jimmy McNulty on "The Wire." :)
