Happy Kevin thoughts and a BIG thank you!
First of all I wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments in my last post. Some days I can't help but get a little down about my Dad, but knowing that I have the best LJ friends around certainly helps. Big *HUGS* to all of you for your sweet and supportive comments! :)

On Friday night Mark & I went to my boss' house to have dinner and sing karaoke as a farewell to my three office mates who left our company recently. It was a lot of fun and I can't describe how nice it is to work in a place where we all enjoy each other's company outside of work as well. :) Mark's working place is definitely not like that - and I know many others are not as well so I feel extremely blessed to work with such wonderful people. :) I love my job!

Lots of happy Kevin thoughts today. :) Got an email from him telling me that it was okay for me to post those curtain call photos of him on the site. :) (I never asked him about it - he just told me I could when I sent them over to him) :) Woo hoo! He also told me that Julie Ann's movie has been re-titled to "Hitch" instead of "Last First Kiss" which had previously been announced. :) He mentioned "Ten Commandments" briefly and had great things to say about Lauren Kennedy and Val Kilmer and called the show a "monster of a musical" - :D He says that I'll really enjoy it and I trust his opinion completely. :) I just REALLY hope that it's well-received by the critics. :P

Speaking of "Ten Commandments," karmastyx told me that she saw a commercial for it on TV the other night. :) The really nice thing about a BIG budget production like that is the high-profile-ness of it all. It could also be a drawback as well, depending on how well the show is received (back to me hoping and praying for good reviews.)

And WOO HOO! Mark & I have completed week 6 for our workout and diet program! :) I took my week 6 photos this morning and put them side by side with my week 1 photos - and there was a pretty big difference. (If I have the courage I'll try to post them tomorrow - in a friends' only post - no need to show random strangers my fat) ;) Now it's on to Round 2 of the program. :) I reached my goal of hitting a size 7 on this round and my next goal is a size 5 by the end of the next six week period. :) I can't believe how much it's changed my life! :)

Off to grab a shower and chase down the fuzzy dog. :) Hope you all have a nice evening! :)

Awww, thanks so much, Lauren! My ultimate goal is a size 5 though because I think getting back to a 3 is pretty unrealistic! ;) Hope you're doing well. *HUGS*

Congratulations on your success. Sorry I missed your last post, I'm working my way backward through the last couple of days.

WOW!!! A size 7 is so great! That's so good that you have realistic goals. I'll be cheering you on for your next phase! :)

Thanks so much Laura! :) I was initially going to stop at a size 7, but felt really good about trying to push myself even more these next 6 weeks. :) Thanks for all your encouragement! You've been wonderful!

Congratulations to you on all your dieting and working out too! :) I'm so happy for you! :)

wtg on the workout program! I have to see if I can find the same motivation to keep running steps over at Maryland. my calves are in such pain that I almost want to never do it again, but I know it's a great aerobic workout (I was totally breathless after each jaunt up the steps) and it'll get my ski legs in shape for the mountains (even if I don't get to my goal of Devil's Castle). but oh the pain.....how did I get through pre-season soccer training, which was equally as painful????

You should be so very proud of yourself. :) A size seven is awesome!!! :D Like I have said before though, I never thought you needed to lose weight in the first place. The fact that you are happy about yourself is what really matters. :)

Thanks so much Carrie! I didn't realize that we'd lost the weight until I saw our before and after pictures side by side. Mark's lost SO much weight - I think he's down to the size that he was before we got married! :)
