Wasting the night away. :P
For some reason I've just been overwhelmed by laziness today. :P Couldn't get myself to go downstairs and bug Mark about the workout tonight (yes, the honeymoon is over and Mark now needs to be coerced into exercising again! :P) I've been sitting here like a zombie for the past several hours trying to update Kevin's site and compose a halfway decent email reply to him. My mind has officially turned into mush... :P

I've also been sitting here spending waaaay too much time trying to think of something to send him for opening night - (it's become a tradition since the Millie bamboo) :) but Big Island Candies, which was my first choice, only delivers on selected days to the mainland. :( In one respect, I'm glad I didn't order anything, since the first preview date has been moved back to the 21st. Anyone have any other ideas of something I could send him?

Speaking of moving back dates, I've decided to re-schedule my CIW exam. :P I'm SO not ready for it and I think chances are great that I won't be by Saturday. :P The exam is not something I really need, but it did come with my tuition package and if I take it, I'd like to make sure I'm fully prepared for it. I called them today and re-scheduled it for the 30th of October - after I get back from my trip.

And I know I should be doing many things, like taking my firm element exams online for work (so my licenses that I worked so hard to get this year don't go inactive on me) :P, study for my CIW, work out... but quality sleep seems to be the most inviting option to me at the moment. I'm good for nothing tonight, really. :P

Have a nice evening, everyone. I'm off to gather the fuzzy dog and crawl into bed. :P

I think the Big Island Candies are a good thing to send to him. I want a box for myself, but I haven't gone to the Big Island in years.

Food is always a good thing to send, especially from here. *L*

I love the chocolate dipped shortbread cookies from there! :) Our rep in Hilo brought some over for us when he came for the last meeting - it was gone within hours! Oh so bad for my diet! :(

And I've given him a box of those cookies before and he loved them - so I thought I'd send it to him again. :)

oh there was a reason that made our trip to Big Island more enjoyable! yum yum yum....it does make a wonderful gift, since it's something that can't be found outside of Hawai'i.

Yup! Every convention to the Big Island, there always had to be a stop at Big Island Candies before heading to the airport! :) Adams (who still works with me in my dept at the bank) just brought some over to our office recently... YUMMY! But bad for my diet! :(

Hmmm... not sure what else you could send Kevin. Big Island Candies... sounds yummy though. Hee hee!

It is! They're known for their chocolate hand-dipped shortbread cookies! :) If I ever make it to Vacaville, I'll bring some for you! :) It's a favorite of mine (and Kevin's) - too bad they don't ship it when I need it to go out. :(

That would be awfully sweet of you, but not necessary. How strange that they only ship to the mainland at certain times. Did you find anything else to send Kevin for opening night?

Kevin told me that they pushed the first preview date for the show back to the 21st and so I was able to order the chocolate dipped shortbread cookies from Big Island Candies for him! :) Hope it gets there in time. :)

Oh, very cool!!! Glad you were able to do that then.

The Big Island Candies look delicious. :) Once, Monika's father enjoyed to get a basket filled with special things (which one not always buys for yourself) to eat. But, we knew what he likes to eat. :)

Sometimes, one needs a time-out. Hope you slept well. Please, take care Sheri.

Big Island Candies are my favorite! :) I think food is always a nice gift - in our office, that's probably the most popular gift that we can receive from our reps at Christmastime! Food goes well with any occasion! ;)

I actually fell asleep at 8pm last night - which was really great. I really needed it - I was getting a bit too loopy without sleep this week. ;) Please take care, Sabine! *HUGS*

Sleep is important! Don't feel bad for wanting sleep. ;)

Very true! I'd been sleep deprived all week and it was making me really loopy at work. ;) Last night I fell asleep at 8pm and didn't get up until 5am this morning. I really needed it!
