The start of the eating season is finally upon us.
I can feel it, the eating season has definitely begun. :P This morning those of us in the back office were greeted by a lovely made-from-scratch pumpkin pie from one of our reps (who loves to cook gourmet food in her free time) :) Tomorrow we have lunch at the in-laws and dinner at my uncle's house (where the stuffing is to-die-for!) I can feel my jeans getting tighter just thinking about it and I can just see all the dieting over the past few months going to waste. And though it may sound like I'm complaining - I'm really not. :) Thanksgiving happens to be one of my favorite times of the year - I just wish that the festivities didn't include so many calories. ;)

Speaking of guilty pleasures, I've just discovered the journal of someone who signed Kevin's guestbook recently (she left her Xanga link in the guestbook). Apparently she goes to see "Ten Commandments" a lot and does a lot of talking about the cast and the show. It's always nice to read about what others think of the show and that's one reason I keep reading... (Yes, I know, I'm pathetic). :P

So here's a random question for all of you (prompted, I guess from the above paragraph): Is there a journal that you lurk on, but for whatever reason have never commented on or friended? I'll admit that I used to lurk on a few, but now they're all on my friends' list. :) I'm a little shy (hey - no snickering out there ;)) and sometimes it takes me a while to comment on someone's journal if I don't know them.

In fuzzy dog news, Sydney must know that it's almost time for another bath because she's been very good lately - a little too good, if you ask me. She's been walking around the house like a little angel and not like the little diva doggie she normally is. ;) She's even been walking up the stairs by herself and won't demand (like she usually does) to be carried. :)

I'd better get back to the books. :P Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow. Big *HUGS* to you all. :)

I lurk on the journal of a girl who fascinates me. Wonderful writing, really interesting upbringing and current living situation. I can't even remember how I found her. But she hates lurkers, so I won't divulge more. :-) (Although I probably shouldn't worry because AFAIK, she isn't even a friend of a friend.)

I always love reading journals of fascinating people - it's funny how we tend to know more about those that we meet online than some people that we see everyday in our real lives (because of things like online journals).

there is one that I lurk around on... http://wouldashoulda.com/ I love and enjoy her stories and style of writing. Just don't have much to say :)

I will also be eating up some heavy Indian food... but my goodness it's delicious!! :P I was thinking of you actually when I was running guilt through my mind..he h ehe...

Haha! Food guilt and Sheri have almost become synonymous lately. :D The food was so good last night, but SO fattening! Unfortunately when I came home last night, exercise was the last thing on my mind. :P

I lurk on this girl's journal who is in my program at school. I really don't like her, but it's fascinating to read about her. She doesn't even know I exist at school, so it's kind of strange that I know too much about her. Hahaha...that sounds creepy, but it's not really :)

Doesn't sound creepy - I used to lurk on a few journals of people I knew casually as well. :)

BTW, noticed that you made that photo into an icon! :) How cute! :)

It's funny that I just wrote about that too, cause I just found 2 more journals of people from my classes. I just think it would be weird if I introduced myself, because we don't talk in class...hmm... These other 2 seem like decent people, though. :)

Thanks! I've gone crazy with the icons - I just learned some new 'tricks' so I've been experimenting!

Happy Thanksgiving, Sheri. Hope you have a wonderful day. :)

Is there a journal that you lurk on...
No, not really constant only sometimes and not a special journal.

I smiled about Sydney - probably, she is hoping that you will realize that good dogs are always clean dogs, too. :) How often do you bath Sydney?

*Hugs* to you
and "love and attention* to Sydney :)

Haha! I think Sydney definitely wants us to think that. :) WE bathe her every two weeks. She's really an indoor dog and doesn't go outside too much so it seems about right. I think she knows when it's almst bath time, though - she can tell by the look we get in our eyes. ;)

*HUGS* to you and Micki, Sabine. :)

Stuffing is my fav holiday food. In fact if I could I'd eat it almost everyday. It's okay to enjoy your holidays with food. :)

I like to do some random reading of other journals. It's nice to try to find people who I share things in common with.

LOL, that's funny about Sydney. DIVA DOGGIE! LOL! I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.

I love stuffing too! :) My uncle's stuffing is really great - chestnuts, bacon, ham, tons of butter - it's SO bad for you - but at the same time, it's oh so good! :)

Take care, Laura! :) *HUGS*
