nostalgicIn much more upbeat news, today also has a separate, happier meaning in our family. :) Exactly seven years ago today we brought our fuzzy dog home from the pet store for the very first time. :) Those of you who have been reading my journal for a while will know that the reason I was even at the pet store in the first place, was because I was depressed during my Dad's birthday one year and Mark thought seeing puppies would cheer me up. Well, it did. :)
A little too much, apparently. :) From the moment we saw Sydney in the store, we knew that she had to come home with us. :) And I don't think either of us realized what a life-changing moment it was at the time or that the little fuzzy creature that we were taking home would so completely win over our hearts. :)
While I was looking through a few of my photos for one that I could use in this entry, I ran across one of my favorite Sydney puppy photos. :) It was taken a few weeks after we brought her home, but I think it really shows that even at a very young age, her personality was already starting to emerge. :)
