Sydney looks thinner, why can't I? :P
Mark and I spent the better part of the morning brushing the tangles out of Sydney dog's fur. :P She hates to be brushed and we usually have to gang up on her, hold her down, and distract her while we brush her out. When we were done, it looked like we could make a whole new dog with the fur that we brushed off of her. :P The poor thing looks so incredibly thin now. :( I just know when we go to the in-laws house for Christmas, my mother in law will exclaim, "Syd's lost so much weight!" :) Wish there was a way that I could brush off all my extra weight too. :P

Speaking of which, I've been resisting the temptation to go out and eat this weekend. :P I've gotten really bad with my diet (what diet?) where the "fun thing" that I always want to do is go out to eat somewhere. :P Last weekend we went to Makino Chaya on Saturday and Daiichi on Sunday. This weekend we went to Buffet 100 on Saturday, but instead of asking Mark if we could go to Ronnie's today, I restained myself and settled for a low calorie, low fat (and low fun) meal at home. :P My will power is a big fat (no pun intended) zero these days. :P *SIGH*

On a happier note, our annual Christmas dinner with Susan is going to be next week Saturday. :) We're probably going to Sansei to eat. :) I'm thrilled because I've never been to the new location in Waikiki and I just LOVE their sushi! :) (BTW, these last two paragraphs are probably a good answer to the question I asked in my title) :P

And I can't believe it's already going to be Monday again. :P It seems like the weekends go way too fast these days (it may have something to do with all my test taking stress recently) :P In any case, it should be a pretty light week since Friday is our department's Christmas party and on Thursday half the back office and most of our reps are taking vacation days.

Hope you all have nice week, I'm off to find my fuzz-less doggie and get some sleep. :)

Haha! You really don't need to, Carrie - though after all my holiday eating - I really do! :P

Have a great day today! :)

Forget willpower - it's the holidays! Enjoy yourself until January 1st at least.

Thanks, Amanda! :)

I've always thought that the holidays were for eating - but the eating at work is getting a little excessive! :P But, yup, on January 1st I'll turn over a new leaf. :D

Brock hates to be brushed too. :)

Poor doggies! :( It's so hard, though because if I don't brush Sydney on a regular basis, she gets so tangled that it's almost impossible to get them all out. :P You're lucky that Brock has shorter fur. :)

I brush Micki once a week. She still does not lose hairs but I can't say that she loves to be brushed. While Lauser enjoyed brushing, Micki tries to bite in the brush and I try to show her that it's much better to nag at a dog's bone. She is so quick and lively, my fingers also got some scratches but sometimes it works. :)

My week began well. :) Hope you also have a nice light week.

Please take care, Sheri. *Hugs*

Sydney tries to bite the brush too! And I used to brush her once a week, but she'd start to know when I was going to brush her (I must've gotten a particular look in my eye or something) and she'd avoid me. Now I try to brush her every other week. Whenever we bring her home from boarding it's the worst! She was SO tangled and matted last time! :(

Glad to hear that your week is going well. :) Please take care too, Sabine. :) *HUGS* to you and Micki. :)

Thanks for the card! Too cute! You still have more will-power than I do! I really need to give the Mortie Dog a good brushing too. I hope you have a nice, relaxing, stress-free week! Is there such a thing?

You're very welcome! I'm glad that it arrived safely to you. :) And unfortunately a nice relaxing, stress-free week almost never happens to me. :P But thanks for the nice thoughts :). Please give Mortie a *HUG* for me, Barb! :)
