So, in light of the good news, I spent some time last night looking at priceline for some ideas of airfares. :) The timing of it all seems to work out wonderfully, though since there are so many things I want to see in the area during that time. Hopefully Julie Jackson will get cast in a show during that timeframe too - Fullerton CLO is doing "Miss Saigon" and I think she'd be a perfect Ellen. ;) Of course it's always been a bad habit of mine to "dream" cast all my favorites in every audition notice that I see. ;)
I'm also thinking of planning a trip to NYC in January with my Mom. She still has her credit with Delta that she needs to use before March and it would be nice to take her to NYC since she hasn't been there in over three years. I know she'd love to see "Little Women" and "Avenue Q" and she'd just love the eating places up there. :) I think we'd have a lot of fun... Hopefully, I'll be able to find a fare that I can afford (and if all else fails, I could always use FF miles for LA). :)
Amazing what a little theatre trip can do for my spirits. :) Suddenly, I'm feeling much more refreshed and as if I can tackle any work problem that comes my way. I'm actually feeling much more motivated to save money and get back on my diet than I was just a few days ago. I know, I'm pathetic. :P
I'm off to search for airfares. :) Hope you all have a nice evening! :)
