Holiday-itis :P

Darn if I don't have a HUGE case of holiday-itis. :P I just don't feel like working at all. :P Today during lunch, we had a huge surprise birthday party for my BIG boss. :) We catered in food and we each got him a "stress-relief" themed gift. :) Among the many fun things he received were bottles of Sake, stress pillows, a "Don't Sweat The Small Stuff" calendar, and a soothing fragrance car airfreshner. The one thing nice about my boss is that he does have a good sense of humor about himself and recognized our little theme (and subtle hint) right away. :) I got him a "Wellness" CD set with soothing, healing music. :) If anyone remembers my post about him when he was my sales manager (and I was still in the field), you'll know that he really does need these things! :)

Speaking of work, I'm probably one of the only people who has to work tomorrow. :P It makes no sense to me - the stock market is closed, our clearing firm is closed, none of the fund companies and annuity companies are open - what are we really there for? If it was up to me, I'd say we all go home early tomorrow! Unfortunately, it isn't, though. ;P

In wonderful theatre news, I have a bunch of friends who are lined up to go to see "My Way" (Kevin's next show at La Mirada) with me during my LA trip in February. :) I haven't seen most of them in ages, so it'll be SO nice to see them all again. :) I just hope that Nick is there at the show one of the nights that I'm there - I never really know when that'll be (how often do directors go to see their own shows anyway?), but I've been really lucky that I've been able to see him at all his shows recently. :)

And finally, I can't believe that Christmas Eve is tomorrow night already! At least all of my holiday preparations are done - and wonder of all wonders... Mark actually sent out his Christmas cards - and this year he did it before Christmas! Woo hoo! ;)
