Speaking of NYC, I've been noticing that the weather there has been getting colder. My Mom was happy to hear that they were ranging in the 50's last week. It might sound crazy to some, but I was hoping for the traditional cold NYC in January weather. We have no seasons here so traveling in colder weather is sometimes half the fun for me. Weird, I know. :P
Had a meeting downtown today and met the others from our back office for some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life! :) It was a small, hole-in-the-wall place near our main branch where we actually had to walk through an alley to get to. I never would've found it or thought to go in if it wasn't for one of the reps who joined us. :) The food was SO delicious and so reasonable too! I got a HUGE plate of Crispy Gau Gee Mein for only $4.75! :) It's a shame I don't work in the downtown area, I'd eat there a lot (and probably gain a lot of weight in the process!) :P
I've been busy trying to put a bunch of songs on my iPod before I leave on my trip next week. With a 10+ hour plane ride, I'll need all the variety I can get. :) I finally found my "Bounce" CD so that's going on there, plus I still haven't put "Parade," "A Class Act," or "A Chorus Line" on it yet. I think a definite stop when I'm in NYC is the Virgin Megastore! I need to expand my cast recording collection and the chances of me finding anything I'm looking for here are slim to none. The guy at the Tower here looked at me like I was insane last year when I asked them if they had "Parade." :P
I'm off to catch up with all of you and then it's back to my iPod. :) Hope you all have a nice evening!
