Speaking of work (and pathetic) ;) next week is going to be extremely rough for us - everyone and their brother is taking vacation and we'll be left with a VERY skeleton crew the whole week. :P Not too bad normally, but extremely horrendous during one of the busiest IRA weeks of the tax season. :P And to top it off, we'll be graced by the presence of another auditor... oh, joy. :P Stress eating, here I come! :(
On a happier note, Mark & I are planning to go to Borders on Saturday to see one of our friends (and Best Man at our wedding) Jon Murakami at some kind of book signing. He's a local cartoonist and has a line of local Hawaii greeting cards and a book or two. :) Mark grew up with Jon, but I knew Jon in High School and no one was more shocked when Mark & I got together than Jon was since he knew us separately and had no idea we even knew each other. :) It'll be nice to see him on Saturday. :)
On a theatre note, I've heard mixed things about the S.T.A.G.E. Benefit that Kevin was in last weekend. Some say it was disappointing, others said it was alright. The consensus seemed to be that Kevin did well in his number in which he sang "That's Amore" (as a pizza man? - Don't ask me...) Of course it's only now that I remember that's what he'd told me he was singing. :P Although I'm sad that I missed the opportunity to hear him sing, it doesn't seem like I missed too much with the rest of the show.
I have been getting a little anxious, though and have been wanting to plan another theatre trip soon. Hopefully Kevin did decide to go to that audition yesterday so I might have something great to look forward to. ;) It's WAY too long to have to wait until his Calphil concert in September to hear him sing again. :P
Oh well, I'm off to find the fuzzy dog and crawl into bed. Hope you all have a nice evening. :)
