So Mark & I went to see the early morning showing of "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith" yesterday. :) It was one of the few times that I actually saw Mark up before 10am on a weekend. It was so funny to see him SO excited about it. :D He was up and getting ready, reminding me that we had to leave the house to meet Susan at 8am at the theatre. :) I even thought he might leave me at home if I didn't come downstairs in time. ;)

The movie itself was really good - and that coming from me (not at all a Star Wars fan) is pretty amazing. :) It helps that I completely LOVE Ewan McGregor, but really the show itself had me hooked. :) It was also SO nice to spend time with Susan and Fredrick. :) After the movie, we all went to eat an early lunch at Zippys and talk about the movie. :) It was a great Saturday. :D

After the morning we had, you'd think hubby would be Star Wars out? Mark spent the rest of the afternoon and evening alternating between playing Knights of the Old Republic 2 on his XBox and watching "Return of the Jedi" on DVD. "You can never have too much Star Wars," he told me. ;)

Today we're going to go out for some lunch - I was telling Mark that I had been craving ribs ever since I went with Linda to The House of Ribs in Westwood before seeing "Applause" last week. It was just SO good that I've been craving BBQ ribs ever since (and I'm not really a meat eater at all!) We might go to Ruby Tuesday or a place that Susan suggested in Wahiawa... So much for starting my diet this weekend! :P

Speaking of such, Sydney seems to have been gaining a lot of weight recently... I'm sure that's only a sign of her happiness, but I was shocked the other day when I carried her and could barely feel her rib cage... It's probably due to the snacks we bought her from the Pet Expo earlier this month. I think the entire family needs to get back on a diet. ;)

I'm off to add some songs that I've just acquired to my iPod, I hope you all have a nice Sunday! :D

Thats just too cute with all of Marks excitement!

I used to love ribs, I cant eat them anymore, (for two reasons) but every once in a while they sound REALLY good to me. Hope you get some good ones today!

Mark was SO cute! I've never seen him so excited before, it definitely made me happy to see him so enthusiastic about it. :D

The ribs were wonderful! And a great end to my unhealthy eating ways. You've inspired me, Angie... I'm starting a new healthy eating / exercise regime tonight. :)

Haha, Mark sounds like me...and Ewan was so great. If you ever saw episodes 4, 5, & 6...Ewan so had me believeing he was the Obi Wan that Alec Guinnes was...outstanding job.

I LOVE Ewan!! :D *SIGH* He was such a man of honor (and so sigh-worthy as well!) :D I have seen episodes 4-6 and you're right, it was so believable that he'd become the Obi Wan that Alec Guinness played... I really liked him in Episode II (it's about the only thing I liked about Ep II), but in this his character was so well drawn, calm and knowledgeable, very honorable - I loved it! What a great movie! :D

I'm glad to hear that you all had a nice time and that you liked the movie. And yes, I too like Ewan McGregor. :) Mark really seems to be a Star Wars fan, what I understand. Alternating watching and playing sounds difficult to me, I think I would get confused. :)

Hope you have a nice Sunday, Sheri.

*Hugs* to you. And please give Sydney a hug, too.

Mark's a HUGE Star Wars fan! He's been VERY excited about the release of Episode III and has been talking about it for months. :D I really like seeing him so excited about it, though - it's very endearing. :D

Hope you've had a nice weekend, Sabine! :D *HUGS* to you and please give one to Micki for me too. :)

I think I may want to actually see this Star Wars. The last one they had did not interest me at all. I'm glad you and Mark had a nice time.

I think about the only good thing about Ep II was seeing Ewan McGregor with his beard and wet hair (in that one scene, I can't remember where or why, but I do remember what he looked like... *SIGH*) :} - my sheepish grin. :}

It's actually a really good movie, even for non-Star Wars fans like us. :) I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of the chracterizations and the story. You should see it. :)

Oh no, Tytan too? :( I personally think that the weight gain has to do with the two of them being so happy. :) But, I do think Sydney needs to go on a diet - along with the rest of our family. :)

Hope you've had a nice weekend! Big *HUGS* to you! :D

Ruby Tuesday's ribs are pretty good. You mean Molly's Smokehouse in Wahiawa? That place is good too! Both are really good suggestions. ;-)

I haven't seen SW yet, I probably will eventually. HAHAH

Yes, Molly's Smokehouse! Susan was talking about it at lunch yesterday - she said it's a really small place, but they have the best barbeque around. :) We ended up going to Ruby Tuesday and the ribs there were wonderful! I think I've satified my rib cravings for a while. :)

And I thought Episode III was great and I'm not even a Star Wars fan! :D

I thought RT was pretty good, kinda on the greasy side though. I ate the mango one, which good. My friends refuse to eat at rib places, because we bbq ribs. I like Molly's brisket which is ono too. Molly's sour cream pound cake is ONO. She gave us some of that to try free. Talk about fattening. *L*

I like the old 3 movies, I kinda think the 3 were good visually, but the story was uhm...interesting. *L* I didn't think there was good chemistry between Natalie and Hadyen. Then again it's just me. ;-)
