happyGot some wonderful news while I was in LA - Julie Dixon Jackson told me that she was going to be in the Saddleback CLO production of Babes In Arms in August. :) She also told me that she was going to try to see Guys & Dolls on Saturday night after rehearsals, but sadly I opted to skip out on Guys & Dolls that night to see Once on This Island instead (although according to Kevin, it didn't look like she was able to make it down to see the show after all.) Although I'd love to see her in Babes In Arms - I don't think I'll be able to afford another trip out that way so soon. :(
Speaking of Julies - Kevin told me that Julie Ann will be guest starring in an episode of "The Inside" on the 27th of July. I asked him if she had a big role or if it was like "Alias" where she was on the screen for all of 5 minutes and kills herself before the opening credits. ;) He told me her part is pretty big and that she plays a completely insane character - a real departure from anything we've seen her in before. I'm REALLY looking forward to it! :)
And because I had a bit of insomnia last night, I've finally uploaded a few photos of my recent trip.
Bets Malone (Miss Adalaide) and Kevin. Bets was the sweetest person and made it a point of coming up to me after each show to give me a hug and thank me for coming. :) She was one of the best things about the show - her Miss Adalaide was hysterical! :)
Another highlight of the show was Tami Tappan Damiano (who played Sarah Brown - Kevin's love interest in the show) Not only was her voice beautiful, but her drunken "If I Were A Bell" was my favorite moment of the show. :D
Nick, Kevin, and Steve Glaudini posed for a photo for me after the Sunday evening show. Nick's direction of the show was fabulous - his strict attention to detail paid off and the production was so much better than any other production of Guys & Dolls that I had ever seen.

It was really nice to see and catch up with Chad again. Notice his recently shaved head and his goatee (he said that he looked forward to us telling him how much we hated it.) ;) After all these years he's still very much the same warm person I'd always known him to be and he seems so much more at peace with himself than I've ever seen him.
The wonderful Friday night I spent with my East Coast buddies (L-R) Laura, me, Sharon, Pat (
gigglets), and Terry after Guys & Dolls (and shortly before we moved our party outside to the parking lot. ;)Well, I'd better run, I have to update Julie Ann's site with information on her guest spot on "The Inside" and I'm currently working on doing some research for a possible new site that I'm thinking of creating... :) Hope you're all having a nice week. :D Big *HUGS* to you all! :D
