The healthy eating thing's going okay... though tomorrow it's going to have to take a back seat. We're going to be in conversion trainings throughout the day and management has graciously offered to pick up lunch for us from Gyotaku (a really great Japanese food restaurant nearby). I'm going to be bad and indulge in Scallop Kamameshi (which is flavored, steamed rice with bamboo shoots, vegetables, chicken, and - of course, scallops!) YUMMY! It's been so long since I've eaten good japanese food, that I'm really looking forward to this!
Speaking of Japanese food, Mark is getting VERY excited about his upcoming trip to Japan. He went to a luncheon meeting with his tour group on Saturday and got to meet everyone who will be going on the trip with him. He said he wanted to establish early in the meeting that Julie was his sister and not his wife. He even jokingly told me that he wanted to learn how to say, "Not wife" in Japanese before he leaves. ;) He says the thing he's looking forward to the most is the eating - and really, I can't say I blame him. :)
On a separate note, Mark & I finally got our season tickets for Diamond Head Theatre's 2005 - 2006 season. :) The season actually looks pretty good this year and it's about time I put my money where my mouth is and supported local theatre (instead of just grumbling about it like I normally do). The season starts with "The Full Monty" on September 29th - which I've never seen. The highlight of their season should be their production of "Into The Woods" next year - that I'm REALLY looking forward to! :)
Finally, I found a wonderful review of Bets' performance in "Will Rogers' Follies" that I'm going to add to her site. (There's also a GREAT photo of her with John Bisom! :) It's sad that she (and Misty) do most of their performing outside of LA, I'd love to see them both in something again. :)
Well, I'm off in search of the fuzzy dog. Hope you all have a nice evening. :)
