Doug & Sheri

I knew it'd be an interesting day...

...when the first thing I did this morning was burn my bagel (almost beyond recognition) and almost start a fire in our kitchen. :( Luckily, I caught the darn thing before it went up in flames, but it was too late to save the horribly charred thing that used to resemble my breakfast... :(

Thankfully the day only got better from there. :) Julie sent over a photo of her darling newborn baby boy for the web site. :) She just brought him home from the hospital yesterday and it was so nice of her to send over a photo of him so quickly. Lately I've been amazed at the openness and generosity of Julie and her husband Rich - I've been so thankful for the opportunity to get to know her throughout the year that I've been working on her website. :) Sometimes I wonder what things would've been like had I NOT made the site for her - And I now know that I would've missed out getting to know a truly special person.

It must've been a "Side Show" kind of day... because I heard from Andrew (Djang) today too - who I had been thinking about - oddly enough, and wondering what he'd been up to. :) Andrew is incredibly sweet and funny and I only wish great things for him and his career.. BTW, I told him I think he'd be a perfect Ching Ho in the "Thoroughly Modern Millie" tour... ;)

Oh yeah and my friend Susan and I are getting together for dinner tomorrow night. :) I'm very excited since it's been a while since I've seen her and it'll be really nice to just sit with her and catch up on each other's lives. I can't wait to hear about her wedding plans, her house hunting, and make fun of the men in our lives. ;) Should be a fun evening. :)
