Doug & Sheri

Well, another long weekend is over... :P

...and really all I have to show for it is some serious tendinitis in my wrist from all the work on the computer that I've been doing lately... :P I've been working on another unofficial site for another one of my favorite performers, Misty Cotton - who I had seen in "Side Show" and "Anyone Can Whistle" (and just missed by days in "Spitfire Grill" :P). The site was actually planned all the way back a year and a half ago after I had seen "Side Show" - but there was just too much research that needed to be done and too much info to collect that it got put off for a while. (Misty works SO much - I think she and Kevin must work the most in LA) :) If anyone is interested, here's the link:

Misty's Unofficial Site

Yes, I know that all my sites tend to have a similar look to them. :P I haven't made the link public yet... Not sure how well it will go over with Misty, and I just wanted to get some general feedback before I tell her about it. Like I've always said, I know that I'm not a professional or anything (clearly!) but I do try to put a lot of care into all of my sites and that should count for something, right? ;) And any opinions you may have on it would be greatly appreciated...

We just came back from dinner at the in-laws where we got to see Mark's cousins and their baby for the first time. :) I really enjoy talking with Mark's cousin Tricia, she and I seem to have a lot in common - so much that it borders on scary sometimes. She loves to scrapbook and take photos like I do, LOVES musical theatre (and we have the same taste in shows too!), and some people even say that we look alike... It's a shame that they live so far away, because if we all lived closer I know that we'd be great friends. :) Although I like Mark's family and they're all really great to me, I've never really had anything in common with them - interest wise. Tricia is the first in the family that I feel a real connection with. It's a shame we only see them maybe once a year. :(

And Sydney seemed a little upset at the in-laws tonight. With Tricia's baby there, she wasn't the center of attention like she usually is and I think she was a little sad about that. :P As we were leaving Tricia said, "Now you have to hurry up and have one too so they can play together." :) Ummm...Riley will probably have to wait quite a while for a playmate if they wait for us...

And where the heck did the weekend go? :P I have to go back to work tomorrow and I thought this long weekend would be enough to re-charge me for another week of no-bus-traffic and cranky customers... but it hasn't. :( Somehow the extra two hours a day that I've spent on the road this week in traffic has made a real difference in how tired I've been - and I'm not entirely sure why that is. :P
