Doug & Sheri

My class today...

...wasn't as much of a great experience like the other class I took last month. I knew going in that I wasn't too interested in the networking side of things, but I thought that it'd be good to learn (and I need it for my CIW exam). But I wasn't quite prepared for all the things that flew over my head today in class. :P I listened with real interest at first, and took a lot of notes, but by the fifth hour I could tell that I was starting to get a glazed over look in my eyes. By the time 4pm came, I couldn't wait to go home. If I hear one more computer acronym today I'm going to be ill. :P I'm totally not a technical person and this class is making me use the WRONG side of my brain. :P Hopefully tomorrow won't be as bad. :P

And if anyone is not doing anything tomorrow (Tuesday) night and they have some time between 10pm - 11pm please tune into ABC to catch the big premiere of Julie Ann's (Kevin's wife's) new TV series "Line of Fire". From what I've seen and heard, it's supposed to be a really great show and I hope that it does well, not only because of Julie, but because I think ABC could use more well-scripted dramas on the air and less reality shows.

Speaking of which, I watched almost the entire Monday night football game to see the new "Line of Fire" promos. Kevin told me that they would be airing and I spent the entire evening taping them. :) Unfortunately, the game is almost over and not one of them featured Julie's character (each one featured a different key character from the show). :( I'm so excited about her show premiering, though! It's been about a year since they filmed the pilot (I remember she was away filming it when I saw Kevin in "Spitfire Grill" in Nov of last year) and I can't wait to finally see it! :)
