Doug & Sheri

I had another post here last night...

...but then thought the better of it and took it down. I realized after I wrote it that I've been ranting about my websites WAY too much - and scary as it may be, I think I may have gotten to the point that I might not care as much anymore. :( Official / unofficial - it's all just a title - Besides I always believe that hard work, dedication, and heart has to count for something, right? :P

Oh well, on to the less depressing part of my post. :P

I realized last night that I should probably just kiss Tuesday nights good-bye. :P I'm hardly able to get anything productive done on "Line of Fire" nights. :P Doing laundry for my trip was on the top of my agenda last night, but forget it - I could barely stay up past "Line of Fire" to type out this post (which I'm finishing this morning, BTW)

Pat (my NYC trip friend) emailed me to tell me that although snow is expected on Wednesday and Thursday morning, our NYC weekend looks clear - but VERY cold! BRR! Glad I found that winter coat or I would be so unprepared for the weather up there! :P I can't believe I leave tomorrow night already! It feels like we've been planning this trip forever - it feels a little surreal to have it finally be here.

And when will I ever learn? Every time I eat at Taco Bell I feel ill and yesterday was no exception. :P Kind of like Amanda and Chinese food, I'm that way with Taco Bell! :P But never again - Taco Bell has been permanently scratched off my potential lunch places. :P

And I called my old branch yesterday for some information and I miss all my old co-workers! :( Life in the back office is certainly different... Part of me thinks that it doesn't match my personality at all, part of me wonders how long I can last with no constant people interaction. :P I've come to realize that even if I do fit in better with the admin people, I'm not completely like them either. So, I'm not a sales person, and not a true admin person (because I need people interaction in my day!) - Isn't there some sort of middle ground for people like me? :P *SIGH*

The "I love to travel" post. :o)

The only thing I think I don't like about traveling is the day before I leave on a trip. I always have a ton of things that need to get done that I find I always wait until the very last minute for. :P I'm pretty good about packing all my clothes early, but things like gathering my CDs and MDs that I want to listen to on the plane, my full arsenal of batteries, film, and video tapes usually are packed at the very last minute as well. :P

Speaking of traveling, I also stole this from orion74, irisheyes77, roopunzel, and alligatorandme:

Bold the states you've been to, italicize the ones you've lived in. :)

1) Alabama 2) Alaska 3) Arizona 4) Arkansas 5) California 6) Colorado 7) Connecticut 8) Delaware 9) Florida 10) Georgia 11) Hawaii 12) Idaho 13) Illinois 14) Indiana 15) Iowa 16) Kansas 17) Kentucky 18) Louisiana 19) Maine 20) Maryland 21) Massachusetts 22) Michigan 23) Minnesota 24) Mississippi 25) Missouri 26) Montana 27) Nebraska 28) Nevada 29) New Hampshire 30) New Jersey 31) New Mexico 32) New York 33) North Carolina 34) North Dakota 35) Ohio 36) Oklahoma 37) Oregon 38) Pennsylvania 39) Rhode Island 40) South Carolina 41) South Dakota 42) Tennessee 43) Texas 44) Utah 45) Vermont 46) Virginia 47) Washington 48) West Virginia 49) Wisconsin 50) Wyoming

I guess driving up and down the East Coast with friends, lost and looking for a Denny's has it's advantages. We took a wrong turn looking for a Denny's in Andover, MA and ended up in New Hampshire at 2 in the morning... twice! :P And looking at this list, I think I have to try visiting the middle states more! :)

And since we're talking about traveling, I have a question for everyone. What was the one trip that you enjoyed the most and why? Just curious. :) And yes, I'm procrastinating... :)
