Doug & Sheri

Special thanks and other random things. :)

First of all, I wanted to thank you all for your wonderful suggestions in my last post about giving Sydney her medication. :) Luckily, we haven't had any problems with her swallowing her pills yet... *knocks wood* :P I am keeping the peanut butter, cream cheese, and cheese idea in reserve for the day that simply swallowing it won't work anymore. :) Thank you all so much, I know I've said it before, but I have the best darn LJ friends around. :) *HUGS* to you all!

I just realized that tomorrow will be one year since Mark's Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully it was caught in the early stages and they were able to get rid of it before it spread. One year later she's back to normal, traveling with Mark's father every other month and as active as she's always been. We're SO thankful for early detection. :) It's a kind of fitting way to begin the new month since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In theatre and Kevin news - I found a few photos of Kevin & Julie at the opening night party for "Ten Commandments." My first thought was, "YAY, he's not bald!" ;) (I was afraid he'd have to shave his head for the role) He does look really tan and much more fit - he must've really been working out for the show - he looks great! And Julie, she always looks stunning, what can I say? :)

And as for the debate, I did watch parts of it today (from my boss' office at work), though I did find this one a bit more entertaining. ;) BTW, this look into my political leanings was brought to you by the cute, caring folks of "Avenue Q" ;)

I also feel tons better today (thank you all for your nice wishes),... must be because tomorrow is Friday. ;) Hope you all have a nice evening! :) Time to chase down my active fuzzy dog for bed.
