For the last two months I've been sitting around in limbo with absolutely no theatre trips on the horizon. :( Sad to say that sometimes having something like a theatre trip to look forward to (even if it's a LONG time away) makes it easier for me to deal with the day to day stress of my job. And because all my savings is geared toward funding my next trip, I almost feel unmotivated when I don't have a trip planned. :P And I know it must sound ridiculous to some, but everyone has their own ways of dealing with stress - my way just happens to involve lots of theatre. :)

Speaking of which, I have to mention how much I adore my Kevin friends! Two separate groups of my friends have chosen to go (on their own) to see "Ten Commandments" for a second time. While that might not sound amazing, you must realize that my friends rarely see shows more than once (and aren't like me who has seen "Millie"... *ahem*... 12 times). :P For them to go ON THEIR OWN and bring people with them to see any show for the second time is just a wonderful thing for me. :) I went from worrying that they'd hate it (because of the bad reviews) to thrilled that they can't get enough of it. :) Gotta love my friends! :)

In holiday news, special thanks to hubbaswuba for our very first holiday card of the season. :) Receiving her card today reminded me that I'd better get going and mail all of ours out. :) If anyone hasn't given me their address, but would still like to receive a card, please fill out this poll. :)

On a non-theatre note, I've been seriously comtemplating buying an iPod recently. I'd love a device that I could use to store all the musical theatre stuff I listen to without the hassle of having to lug around tons of CDs. It would be great for traveling since it'd definitely be much more compact and would really help out in the "packing light" department. :) I just don't know if I'd rather spend the money on that - or save it for airfare for my next theatre trip. ;)

And finally, I wanted to wish a very happy birthday to kaylea whose birthday is on the 4th AND who happens to share her birthday with one of my favorite people -- Kevin! :)

Speaking of which, I have a HUGE favor to ask all of you. I always do a traditional Happy Birthday post to Kevin on his message board and it would mean so much to me (and to him) if you could drop by and wish him well on his special day. :) Thank you so much if you can! :)
