Sydney & Sheri

I love my fuzzy dog,... and LA theatre!!

It rained REALLY hard here today... for about 10 minutes. I swear, there was thunder and lightning (the works) and then just as suddenly as it started, it stopped. :o I think Sydney was confused by it all... she was barking at the thunder and wandering around the house making growling noises and when it stopped, she looked a little surprised, as if she didn't expect it to end so quickly. :)

Speaking of my little diva doggie, she's kicking me repeatedly in my side right now, which is doggie-speak for "move the heck over!" ;) For such a little dog, she certainly takes up a lot of space on the bed! I mean, WHY must she always lie horizontally in a vertical space?? ;) It may sound like I'm complaining, but I love it - I don't know what I'd do if I didn't wake up each morning to her fuzzy little butt in my face. ;)

Spent almost the entire day on the internet. :P It seems that I should've gotten more accomplished with the amount of time I was online, but sadly, I ended up doing a bunch of nothing. :( And I have to say that I've been spending all too much time over on MySpace recently. :P I go in phases and in and out of love with that place. The nice thing about it is that I've been able to keep in contact with many LA theatre people there and find out what they have coming up so I can see them in their shows. :)

Speaking of which... though I'm sad that I won't be able to see Kristi in Bark! when Mark & I are there next weekend, I just found out yesterday that Mindy Reid is going on in her place that day. :) I first saw Mindy in "Carousel" with Kevin a few years ago and recently she friended me on MySpace out of the blue. :) She's the sweetest person, though and I'm VERY excited to be able to see her as Chanel! :)

Another person I found on MySpace was Rod Keller. I was sure he didn't remember me from so long ago when I met him through Julie after "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" - but he has a VERY good memory. :) He even remembered me sending him the pictures I took of all of them that day. :)

Yay for nice LA theatre performers... I have to say, even though I love going to see shows in NYC, there's nothing quite like the talent and the passion of the performers in LA theatre... And I'm not even talking just about the Kevin's and Tami's... there's SO much talent there that even those who take smaller, even ensemble roles are incredibly talented! As you can tell, I'm in one of my serious "I love LA theatre" moods right now. :) And I know there are those who say that LA theatre is inferior, but they obviously haven't been to the right productions!

I'm off to get some sleep and move over so the fuzzy dog can stop kicking me. ;) Hope you all have a wonderful evening! :)
