David & Keith #6

A wonderful birthday filled with wonderful food and wonderful friends. :)

Thank you so much again for all your sweet birthday wishes yesterday!! I had a wonderful day... I walked in from my meeting downtown to find a beautiful bouquet of flowers sitting on my desk from my amazing hubby. :) And my office was sweet enough to have a lunch for me - from one of my favorite places - California Pizza Kitchen! :) They even got me a GC for the mall AND some really great organic veggie soup!! I really have to say, as much as I don't like my job at times, my wonderful co-workers definitely are the main reasons I'm still there. :)

After work, Mark took me to P.F. Chang's for some of the best veggie Chinese food I've ever eaten! We had the stir fried eggplant, the veggie chow fun, and the shanghai cucumbers... SOOO yummy! :) For dessert we had this thing called "The Lucky 8" - it was this incredible chocolate filled spring roll with warm caramel & peanut butter dipping sauce and crushed toffee chips all around - it was to-die-for!! I've definitely found my new favorite restaurant! :) Mark & I have promised to go back -- VERY soon! :)

I've also been spending the last few days in David and Keith bliss watching "Six Feet Under". I'm up to episode 6 of season one and for some reason, unlike "Queer as Folk", I can't seem to watch too many in succession... Heck, I could watch QaF the entire night and be done with a season in less than two days! :) As much as I love SFU, I can't take more than one episode per night. I love the show, though - it's so brilliantly written. And though "Queer as Folk" will always have a special place in my heart, David & Keith's love story is FAR more realistic than anything I've ever seen on TV before. They're complex and not always perfect, but I just love them!!

Hope you're all having a nice week. :) I'm off to do some web work and catch up on all of your entries. Big *HUGS* to you all!!
