Thank goodness it's the weekend...

...and my OSJ audit is over!! :) I feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders since I've been in an utter panic about this week for so long. I guess I should be extremely happy that I even made it through the week in one piece, but I still worry about the eventual final write up (which we won't receive until the end of the month.) Sometimes it's the friendly and polite auditors who don't say anything DURING the audits that end up writing the most damaging reports. :P We'll just have to see, I guess.

In any case, I'm thankful it's all over and even more thankful that my LA/SF trip is just 5 days away! :) After all the ridiculous stress of conversion and all the preparations for the impending audit, all I want to do is get away for a bit and see some great friends and some great theatre. :)

Speaking of which, I knew there was a show I'd wanted to see that I was completely forgetting about!! :( I had a free night (with no theatre planned) on the 11th and because the Blank Theatre (where I'm seeing The Wild Party) is dark on Friday, I ended up buying a second set of tickets to see The Grand Tour. Of course, I COMPLETELY forgot that Nick was directing a production of Anything Goes that night at Pepperdine University. :( I know that I'll enjoy the The Grand Tour enough to be happy that I'm seeing it twice, but I'm just so sad that I missed a chance to see a Nick show! :(

On a completely separate note, Mark & I have decided not to re-take our photos this weekend. We've got a bit too much going on this weekend to drag the fuzzy dog all the way back to Kualoa Ranch for another set of pictures (not to mention that we feel that we've traumatized her enough with the last trip.) ;) So, to anyone receiving our holiday card this year, let me apologize in advance and say that Sydney doesn't always look that annoyed. ;)

Tomorrow Mark & I are going out to brunch with the in-laws (ALL of them!) Mark's aunts, uncles, and cousins are all coming down from the mainland and we're all getting together for a huge brunch buffet tomorrow. It's been such a long time since we've seen his relatives on the mainland so it should be a lot of fun. :)

And finally, I wanted to send out warm birthday wishes to hobbes1969 - hope you have a great day, Dawn! :)
