Some New Year's resolutions before the stroke of midnight...

....Well, we're back from the in-laws and actually had a pretty good time. Sydney is the grandchild that they don't have, so among the many people there Sydney is often the center of attention. She's usually very tired and over-stimulated and by the time we bring her home she's ready for some serious sleep. Tonight, however she's wandering around under my computer barking at every little pop of fireworks outside... It's going to be a long night...

Thought about some New Year's Resolutions on the way home and wanted to write them down (so to speak) before midnight.

1. I'm determined to lose 20 pounds. I know that I say that every year, but this year I'm really going to do it. Which means dusting off my bank ID and heading down to the gym my company owns and making time to work out at least twice (if not more) times a week, going walking more, and eating better (which means bringing lunches and cutting out the quick run ins with fast food between errands at lunch).

2. Save money - to not shop carelessly. I've been able to stop my excessive shopping a bit recently, but my goal in 2003 is to stop the need to spend money on things I don't need and basically could do without. No more outrageous credit card bills...

3. I will try to update my other websites more frequently. I have no problem updating Kevin''s just Julie's and Cody's that I sometimes have to think about doing more frequently. I'll try to be better about it next year, though.

'Kay, I had more, but in reading through my list, I think that these will pretty much be taking up most of my time and energy next year. And being quite realistic about it all, I think there are only so many of these I can make and honestly expect to keep...

Well...we shall see, I guess. :) Better get off the computer, Sydney just jumped into my lap (scared from all the fireworks) so I'd better tend to her. Again, Happy New Year, everyone!
