I think after this weekend...
...the mouse on my computer will need to be surgically removed from my hand. :P I spent the last 18 or so hours on the computer putting together my new web site. It's finally semi-ready to go and I think I'm finally okay with it. And of all the things, I think the thing I spend the most time on whenever I make a new site is finding the right font for the titles... pretty lame huh? Anyway - it's done, but I'm going to wait a little while to make the link public to message boards, etc., still trying to get some feedback and tweak it a little more first. Here's the link if anyone is interested. Don't know how well it'll go over with Julie or with Kevin. I've been lucky in the past that my sites have been well-received by the people I've done them for, but you really never know - and I always worry about that. :P Any feedback would be greatly appreciated - good or bad, I can take it. :) And before anyone says anything, I know I'm not a web designer - by any stretch of the imagination, but I do try to put a lot of heart into the sites I create and hopefully it'll count for something. :)

In non-computer news: Sydney ate a chocolate covered raisin that accidently fell on the ground today and I spent the morning wondering if she was going to 1. puke 2. get deathly ill OR 3. have to be taken to the vet. Luckily it seemed to have been - "none of the above" as she's still running around the house chasing her toys and wagging her tail. :) Boy am I relieved, I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to her! :(

Hi Carrie! Thanks for visiting the site and for signing the guestbook! :) Happy to hear that you saw Julie in "Taken" :). And whew! I'm happy Sydney had no real bad side effects from that chocolate raisin either. :) Take care and hope you have a great week. *hugs to you*

OOOOOOOh! I know what you mean about having the mouse surgically removed from my hand... I haven't even finished my Emma layout yet.

The website looks great! You did a good job on it! YAAAAAAAAY!
Sherishutterbug93 on May 19th, 2003 09:09 am (UTC)
Can't wait to see your new Emma site layout when it's done. :) Though I have to say that I really liked the old one too.

Thanks for visiting the site - I'm slowly learning about web site building - hopefully Julie / Kevin will think it's okay. :) Hope you have a nice week. :)

I'm happy with the old layout. I thought it was well done. I figure after more than a year up I better get another one done. *L* I'm learning more about html and layouts these past few years. Hopefully I'm getting better.

I hope you had a great weekend too!

I'm very glad to hear that Sydney is all right. :)

You made me think of a friend's dog who ate 15 with brandy stuffed chocolate beans. She had stolen them and managed it to open the packaging. Cherry, the dog, was very thirsty after that and she slept for a longer while but that was all, luckily. The best was that she never more liked to eat chocolate. :)

You did a good job with your website, it looks great and everything worked well there.

I wish you a good week. :)

Thanks, Sabine. :) I was worried about her - but the chocolate raisin was gone before I even had the chance to figure out where it had fallen... Sydney's VERY quick with dropped food. ;)

15 chocolate beans? Wow - I think I'd be worried about that - it's a good thing that only one chocolate raisin fell. Glad to hear that all was well with Cherry after that.

Thanks for visiting the web site! :) Hope you have a nice week as well. :)

my cat loves raisins!

Your cat is adorable! :) And Sydney actually eats ANYTHING (except fishcake - which is surprising) :)

Sasha ate a whole candy bar before and I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I found out - I was so scared that she was going to die. My dogs (and cats) are like children to me.

Ohhh - poor Sasha! A whole candy bar? I'd have a heart attack too! :( Actually it's probably more, poor YOU - I'm sure Sasha had a grand time eating the chocolate... ;) You must've been so worried! :( I know what you mean, though Sydney's my baby. :)

Re:
Yeah, but luckily it was one of those that wasn't much chocolate. It was up on the counter and she jumped up and ate the entire thing, wrapper and all. We were so worried about her!!!

I won't even go into how bleary eyed I was after staring at the computer screen the whole day yesterday! ;) Lucky thing I didn't have to drive anywhere last night. Thanks for visiting my site! Hope you have a nice week. :)
