I've finally gone over to the dark side! :P I actually spent my entire morning working on a very elementary flash banner for my business site. It's not the greatest and it's definitely nothing fancy, but it's my first attempt at Flash. I've been spending the last few hours (more like the last six... which is kind of pathetic!) trying to figure this thing out and trying to make a banner for Kevin's site... *SIGH* I've officially gone over to the dark side and there's no going back. :(

Here's a preview of what I've done for Kevin's site... It's supposed to be the header for my home page, but I may not use it... It just takes too long to load... :P That's what I hate about Flash sites to begin with... :P Are there any Flash gurus out there who can help me improve this?

On an LA theatre note, sadly, I had to give up the idea of going to see Kristi in "Roar of the Greasepaint" in Thousand Oaks on my next trip. :( It would've been SO wonderful to see her, but I just didn't think I could reliably make it down from a 3pm show in Thousand Oaks to meet cahwyguy and his lovely family for a 7pm showing of "Johnny Guitar" at La Mirada. Yahoo maps says the two theatres are 61.9 miles apart, but I didn't want to run the risk of traffic anywhere along my route... It's all good though since "Johnny Guitar" matinee tickets just sprung up on Goldstar last night, so I've decided to see another matinee instead. :)

I'm off to catch up with all of you. :) Hope you're all having a nice weekend! :)

Well, the sovereignty movement is only for native Hawaiians and they've been talking about it for some time now... doesn't really involve the rest of us. I try to stay out of OHA politics as much as possible...

Hope you've had a nice weekend. :)

It said on the Sovereignty page that non-native hawaiians were welcome to become part of the hawaiian nation, if they were a hawaiian resident. such as yourself.
