I've also signed up for some classes at Kapiolani Community College - which begin on Tuesday night - and run Tuesday and Thursday evenings the entire Summer - (because, you know, my life isn't busy enough or complicated enough as it is. ;) The realization hit me when I came back from my last trip that the only one who can make a difference and get me out of my profession (if that's what I truly want to do...) is me - I have to make that happen.
Spoke with Susan - who I haven't seen in ages and have missed a lot! :( She and I are going to dinner on Wednesday and need to catch up on a lot of things! I'm SOOOO thankful for friends like her who put up with me being out of touch for weeks at a time and who still make the time to catch up with me, even though my life is SUCH a busy wreck... :P
Speaking of wonderful friends, last night, Mark & I spent the evening at one of my co-worker's houses for a dinner, pot luck party. It wasn't for any specific reason, but we all gathered at his beautiful house, and ate a lot of wonderful food, and talked and laughed until the late hours of the night. Last night reminded me of the reason I've been able to put up with my job for as long as I have - I simply ADORE the people I work with!! Our back office is truly like one big, happy (sometimes dysfunctional) family and I love them all dearly!
Today (after I finish some web work), Mark & I are heading out to Kaneohe to eat some lovely veggie Thai food in a place that was introduced to me recently by a good friend at work. I've been craving the green papaya salad all week and I really want to have Mark taste the food there. :)
Hope you've all been well! I apologize again for being so absent from here recently and for my post below! I'm off to get caught up on all of your entries! :) Big HUGS to you!!
