Sydney update...

...Mark & I realize that this is going to be a long road to recovery, but each day that passes Sydney seems to be taking tiny steps toward getting back to the dog we all know and love. Today Sydney was able to sit up for longer periods of time and she was actually able to focus her eyes on us and turn her head in our direction without completely falling over. :) And she still tries her best to get up, and is getting closer and closer to actually succeeding - hopefully she will within the next couple of days. :) I know that may not seem like much, but it's much better than she was a few days ago...

In other news, I think I may be coming down with something... which is horrible because I have such a busy week ahead of me. :( I have a bunch of 403(b) trainings tomorrow (oh joy) and on Wednesday I'm off to the Big Island to help one of my reps kick off a new business line we've recently introduced. None of which excites me all that much, but hey... it's a living. :|

On a theatre note, I finally bought our tickets to see Kristi in Phantom in Vegas this July! I'd seen them offered on Goldstar for a while now, but I wanted to make sure that Kristi was on that night and it's perfect - the one night that we were planning on being in Vegas, she'll be in (possibly for both shows!) :) I'm VERY excited! I can't wait to see her!

And I've also been spending a lot of time here: http://asl.ms/ It's been a wonderful way for me to work on my "receiving" information skills. So far, I can get up to the fastest level and I'll be able to recognize all the letters, but sometimes it'll take me a while to figure out what they spell. ;)

Anyway, I'm off to spend more time with my fuzzy dog and make sure that she's doing alright. Thanks again to everyone for your continued good thoughts and prayers for her! Big HUGS to you!
