Wedding stuff... :)
Not for me, but for my friend Susan. :) She and I had our "monthly dinner night" this evening and we did a lot of talking about her wedding and her "finding a house" situation. :) She asked me to be her Matron of Honor and I was so touched, I almost burst into tears! Really, she's the closest thing I have to a sister - and people have always called us twins. I'm just so happy that she wants me to be a part of her special day. :)

She seems like she has everything in order - in fact, considering her wedding isn't until Spring of next year, she's much more ahead of the game than I was at this point when I was planning my wedding. She's planning on wearing the traditional Japanese Kimono for the wedding ceremony (How cool is that?) and then changing into a nice evening dress for the reception. :) I'm getting extremely excited for her. :)

I guess this all gives me extra incentive to go to Curves and loose some weight before the wedding. :) It's kind of nice that I have something to work toward - I always seem to be more focused when the goal ahead is one that I can see. :) SO I guess the people at Curves will be seeing a lot more of me from now on. :)

In other great news: Kevin's site finally reached 10,000 hits! :) I can't believe that it was almost two years ago that I first put up the site, not knowing what Kevin's reaction to it would be. I've met so many wonderful people through his web site and message board (not the least of which was Kevin and Julie) and for that, I will always be thankful.

It's just been a great day all around. :)

Really? Kimono, wow! Isn't that super expensive?

Congradulations on reaching 10K on your site! That is so great, way to go!

Yeah, the kimono is pretty expensive...in fact, I think that's one of her biggest expenses so far. Someone asked if the bridal party would have to wear kimonos too and she said, "Ummm...I don't think Sheri would be too happy with that." So I'm just wearing a bridesmaid dress. :) Her fiance's wearing the samurai outfit (no sword though). ;)

Thanks for the congrats on the site, Rayna. :) It may not be much, but it's pretty good for a small web site. :)

Re: URL?
Here's the URL:

Kevin's Site

I'm embarrassed to show it to a professional web developer like yourself - please keep in mind this is only a hobby for me right now. (I know I'd never be able to quit my day job) :)

hhmmm uummmm, who's kevin?
Sherishutterbug93 on June 18th, 2003 11:53 pm (UTC)
:D He's an actor/singer in LA that I run a web site for. :D He's got the most amazing voice I've ever heard and what's even nicer is that he's such a nice guy. He and his wife are extremely talented and very sweet people. :)

Re:
cool what would I have seen him in?
Sherishutterbug93 on June 19th, 2003 12:04 am (UTC)
Hmmm....he does stage, so maybe not too much. His wife is on TV though and is always on "ER", was on "Drew Carey", "CSI: Miami", "Taken" on Sci-Fi Network, and has a new series on ABC called "Line of Fire". I think chances are greater that you've seen her and not him. :)

Re:

Sherishutterbug93 on June 19th, 2003 12:10 am (UTC)
You do theatre? I didn't know that! What've you done? :) I love local productions! :)

And yeah, she's done a few guest appearances in shows, but actually had a starring role in "Taken" and will be starring in the new show on ABC. :) I'm so happy that she's doing so well. :)

I really like Curves personally because it's a great workout that I can fit into my lunch hour. The atmosphere is very supportive and fun. :) It's one of the few work outs that I'll actually look forward to. :)

And thanks for the congrats. :) I just feel blessed to be a part of her big day. :) Take care! :)
