Please don't get me wrong, I'm SOOO excited about this! Even more exciting is the fact that this is the first real event of this nature that I'm going to - Anthony will be there emceeing, I've gotten VERY nice emails from the Hands Across Communications people about the event. I know most of this is unnecessary worrying on my part, but if I thought I was shy normally, imagine how shy I am in another language!
I've been brushing up on my vocabulary because I'd hate to meet people and have NO IDEA what they're saying (which might happen anyway...) But I know this is a great experience for me and I just have to jump in and try my best and not stress so much about this, which is much easier said than done.
As for the rest of my weekend,... because my festival events are very stressful, I decided to plan my non-festival shows accordingly.
So... no Little Fish for me - even though it would have been lovely to see it, I've been to The Blank theatre before and it isn't in the best section of Hollywood. Getting to and from the theatre would give me a lot of stress - and who needs more stress next weekend? So, I'm seeing...
Friday (eve): The Marvelous Wonderettes (1st time I was able to purchase Goldstar tix!)
Saturday (mat): Master Harold & the Boys (at The Colony)
I knew I wanted to see Wonderettes again, but one of the reasons I chose Master Harold was because I can get to the Colony with my eyes closed & it's right near the mall. How bad am I?
I have to run and catch up on all your entries from this past week. Hope you're all having a great Saturday!! HUGS!
