I've done this the previous two years and I didn't want this year go by without this entry as well... So I've made a list of all of my wonderful theatre experiences throughout 2007. Whew!! That was a LONG entry! It took me nearly 3 hours of reading through numerous journal entries to complete... :P I have to try to keep a more concise account of my theatre viewing so this won't be so hard next year... ;P

Surprisingly here are the totals for the year:

55 shows over the course of the year (just 1 more than last year)
10 trips to Los Angeles, 1 to Sacramento, and an overnight roadtrip to Vegas :)
Over 55,000 FF miles earned
Countless, countless wonderful memories! Too many to count or even name! :)

Thank you all so much for putting up with all of my theatre babbling all year long!! Big, HUGE, happy *SIGH*!!

Wow! And I thought we were doing well with 10. ;o)

I took Faith to see Beauty and the Beast yesterday. We are home for Christmas and Canada's touring production was in Niagara Falls (about 30 minutes from my mom & dad's house). It was amazing. That's 3 shows for her this year and we are taking her to HS Muscial, Cats & Hairspray so far next year.

Ten is great!! And it's so great that you're getting Faith involved in theatre at such a young age! :) I think that's wonderful!! Your theatre calendar for the next year sounds wonderful as well! Happy New Year!!

Wow! Amazing! I need to try to do the same thing - it will be a shorter list - but it seems exhausting! Looking forward to meeting you in just a few weeks though on one of your 2008 theater trips!

Lovely list!!!! That's crazy beautiful, I have to admit, especially that you have it all in calendar format.

All I know is that I saw the NY Boyz 27 times and Spring Awakening 18... And there were a bunch of other shows in the mix as well. Haha.

Wow!! You've seen Altar Boyz 27 times in NY? That's fabulous!! :) I just feel so fortunate to have had so many lovely memories (some of them theatre-related, some of them not-so-theatre-related) in 2007. Happy New Year to you!!

No theatre in August?! That's the most shocking thing I read today (LOL).

I saw 38 shows and my favorite was "Frost/Nixon" on Broadway. What's yours?
Sheri: Sleeping Beauty Wakesshutterbug93 on January 1st, 2008 08:53 pm (UTC)
Haha!! I took a break in August - probably because my July was so crazy (and because work wouldn't let me take ANY vacation days after I took that week off in July!) ;)

I'd love to see your 2007 list - it must be incredibly impressive!!

I'd have to say that two shows were favorites for 2007 - 13, because of the sweetness of the story and the talent of the cast and crew, and SBW, just for sentimental reasons. :)
