So, a relaxing Sunday is nice. :)
Spent most of my day working on Kevin's site... not the Kevin that you're all thinking of... :) and getting some content in so he can preview the site when he returns from NYC. He's SUCH a pleasure to work with - very personable, very articulate about his wishes... just an extremely wonderful person.

"All Shook Up" is closing this afternoon in Long Beach. Got to see some photos that my friend Patrick posted of his evening at the show last night. I'm SO glad that he got the chance to see it. Patrick is a Wonderette fan that I met through MySpace and really one of the sweetest guys I've met online. :) He seemed to be very enamored of Derek - which is no surprise to me - who wouldn't be?

Kevin (Earley)'s show is also closing tonight in Texas... Speaking of this Kevin, I got a message from Cornell Christiansen about a possible NYC run of "It Came From Beyond" this fall. Another reason to spur me on in planning a possible NYC trip in the fall - though, hopefully, if all goes well (and this is TOTALLY non-kevin related), I'd want to spend most of my traveling time in LA between the Fall and Spring of next year. :)

And yes, I know you all must be tired of hearing about "Thrill Me," but it's been extended another two weekends (until the 16th). I really have to say it was surprisingly one of the best shows I've seen so far this year. I ran across some online reviews for the show and one of the things that I noticed a couple of the reviews saying is that the chemistry between the two leads wasn't believable...

I have to TOTALLY disagree with that! In the performances that I saw, there was TONS of chemistry between the two and on the second performance that I attended, I noticed the little affectionate touches and hand-holding between the two a little more than I did the first time. It's pretty subtle and perhaps it was happening the first time, but the first time I saw the show, I was just engrossed in the riveting storyline,... so much so that I possibly didn't notice anything else.

They're both SUCH incredible performers!!
I think this is one of my favorite photos of the two.

Well, I'm off to continue my web work and get my butt kicked in SCRAMBLE... For those who haven't played it, it's very similar to Scrabulous, but more about finding words - like Boogle - in a pre-determined grid of random letters... And I haven't yet gotten to the point where I can win a game of SCRAMBLE with Mark... :P Hope you all had a lovely weekend! :)

Maybe this means they will release a CD. I remember Stephen mentioning it one day when I ran into him at Temple (when I told him I actually have some Parachute Express on my iPod!).

I certainly hope so! The music is so catchy and lively, a CD of the show would sell very well, I think. :)

Yes, to me, that picture shows that there is chemistry between them. I'm glad to hear that you had a relaxing weekend. :) And I'm crossing my fingers that you will win a game of scramble with Mark soon! Hope your week started in a good way! Big hugs to you, Sheri. :)

Those two have heaps of chemistry - I don't know what the reviewers were talking about! :( Maybe they saw the show early in the run... I think because they've been doing the show for so long, they're more comfortable with each other, hence the greater chemistry... :)

Thanks!! I've won only one so far... Wah!

Big HUGS to you!!
