Clearly, I'm insane.

I found a great airfare to LA, a hotel room on Priceline for $40, and a car rental for $15... So I did it, I booked another flight for a day to see Pippin for the last time. Crazy? Maybe... But so many times for me, I'd wished I had just seen a show one more time (as was the case with Sleeping Beauty Wakes) and sadly I know that once it's gone,... it's gone forever. For something SO special, why not try to see it as many times as I possibly can? I know that if this ever moves to any other venue, the cast that I saw here will not be intact, and frankly, that's one of the things that makes it so amazing, at least, for me.

So, my question to all my LA theatre friends is... Anyone interested in seeing Pippin with me on the 7th of March? There are two shows, 2:30pm and 8:00pm and I'd LOVE to see anyone in the area at either show!

That being said, the crazy part of this whole thing is that my next few weeks are going to be absolutely INSANE... I have a one day trip to the Big Island coming up next weekend to visit my Grandma for her 97th birthday, then the next week, I'm doing this crazy one day trip to see Pippin, then two weeks after that is my mini soap cruise... Then thankfully, nothing for quite a few weeks until NYC in mid April...

On another, less insane note, last night Mark & I went to Vino for a surprise birthday party for one of our friends. He was sooo depressed about turning 30... Ha! I can't even remember 30! :P And because he works in our office and his girlfriend (the person planning it) also works with us it was incredible that everyone could keep the party a surprise. Amazingly he knew nothing about it before he walked in and nearly collapsed when he saw us all there... It was a lot of fun, but I think I gained at least 10 lbs. :P

Finally, I did some cleaning up and sorting of my old playbills this morning and came back in the room to find a cute, fuzzy sheltie in my playbill box...

Seems as though Cooper-dog is back to his old self again after his surgery this past week. :)

I'm off to spend more time with the fuzzy puppy and my dear hubby! :)
