I wish someone would inform my fuzzy alarm clock...
...that there's a difference between weekdays and weekends! ;)

Like clockwork, if I'm not up at 5:30am, I'm on the receiving end of a paw in my face. :P The nice part about this is that it's hard to over-sleep in this house - the bad part of course is trying to explain to this fuzzy alarm that it's Sunday. ;)

Last night Mark & I went to Hiroshi's to eat dinner with the in-laws to celebrate my sister-in-law's & my birthday. We traditionally do the dinner for the two of us at the same time since she's born on New Year's Eve and I'm born in January - but what usually ends up happening is that everyone is always so busy that the first opportunity that we can all get together is usually sometime in March or April to celebrate.

Couple of non-related things... I have been OBSESSED with the new musical "The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown" recently and I heard that it was playing in Costa Mesa... Damn! I'd love to get down there to see it! Kerrigan & Lowdermilk are so damn talented! Problem is I don't think I'll be able to get down there before it closes in May... :(

Not related at all,... One of the only good parts of Sunday nights is getting to see a new episode of "Kings"... I'm excited to see tonight's episode, if only to see how much Michael's storyline is going to be developed. :)

Finally, I've been experimenting with my iPhone and taking some photos... the quality hasn't really been too bad, which surprises me. :) Poor Cooper has patiently been sitting and modeling for me while I've been testing out the camera on my phone...

And since it's been a while since I've posted a fuzzy photo, I thought I'd share one of the iPhone test photos I took yesterday...

The quality isn't that bad :)

Hope you're all having a nice weekend!! HUGS!!

If you figure out a way to tell Cooper to turn off his alarm, let me know so I can try to translate it into cat. ;)

Haha!! Definitely!! Though I'm glad to hear the problem is not only limited to my dog (or dogs in general!) ;)

Awwww! What a face! *skritches*

And yeah, I've yet to find the precise location of a Sheltie's "off-duty" button. :D

AHAHA!! :) Thanks for your comment! :)

You're his people and he's your "shepherd" so he's in a routine. *lol* Robert's parents have a sheltie too and she has similar quirks. She knows when it's 5:00 (but it's always 5:00 somewhere) and time to eat.
Arjaycrazyarjay on April 5th, 2009 08:22 pm (UTC)
Not to mention she knows when it's bedtime and herds my parents into the bedroom. :)

How funny!! Cooper hasn't done that yet, but give him time and he probably will! ;)

Cooper definitely knows when it's time to eat, too! At 6:30pm every evening he's whining and pawing us! :) Their internal clocks are amazing!!

Seems like there are some alarm clocks which you can't turn off. But they are so cute, just like your alarm clock, you can't be angry with them. I've to say that I can kind of fool my Micki alarm clock by telling her to come closer so that I can pet her. Then I see her eyes closing again and my eyes are doing the same, it's not really sleeping but more dozing. That works for so 30 minutes until Micki will notice "she stopped petting, get up now!". :)

Hope you too are having a nice weekend! Big hugs to you, Sheri. And please give Cooper also a hug from me. :)

Haha!! Yes, I could never get angry at my little fuzzy alarm! :) And good strategy with the petting, I should try it! ;) Cooper will paw at my face and then whine if I don't wake up, much better than a snooze alarm, I think. ;)

HUGS to you and Micki, Sabine!! And thank you for the hug for Cooper, he does enjoy them! :)

Oh my goodness! Where did baby Cooper go?
Sheri: Sheri & Cooper 2shutterbug93 on April 6th, 2009 08:04 am (UTC)
I know!! He's such a big dog now!! The iPhone photo is really not a good indicator of how big he's gotten. I'll have to take another picture soon... :) He's not a puppy anymore... Wah!
Debsb186 on April 6th, 2009 08:38 pm (UTC)
Oh Sheri... he's turning into a beautiful "big dog", but I do miss that cute little fuzzy puppy stage. :) His colouring is gorgeous!

Coop's got 300 years of breading in him for one thing: wake up and gather the sheep! lol.

Wait'll October!
You think Sundays are tough, wait until you get to "sleep in" an extra hour for daylight savings time -- except, of course, you won't.

Re: Wait'll October!
