Ah I love my friends! :)
I received two calls this evening from Marina and Bobbie who were at the Hollywood Bowl watching Kevin perform in "My Fair Lady" tonight. Marina was nice enough to call me during intermission to tell me what a great job Kevin did singing "On The Street Where You Live" - she said he even sang with a British accent... *SIGH* She said that it was unfortunate, but his mic crapped out at the end of his solo... POOR KEVIN! :( I feel so bad for him! Mic problems aside, Marina and Bobbie both agreed that he had the most beautiful voice in the cast *SIGH*. I miss them both, but it was so nice to hear from them tonight, they made my evening! :)

I spent the day at home, doing things around the house (laundry, etc.) and I felt a little sorry for Mark. I wasn't in the best of moods today - partially because I was upset that I wasn't seeing my friends and Kevin in LA and partially because I was having major lower back pain. :P I've always had back problems (that stemmed from my years of taking gymnastics as a child) and so I always have to be careful of what I do - I'm not sure what I did on Thursday at Curves that aggravated it, but I've been in pain for the past few days. :P Poor Mark had to bear the brunt of my crankiness, but he was such a dear and went out to buy me more Alleve (which really helped). He's such a sweetie, I'm so lucky to have him in my life. :)

I've also been working on updating my own personal web page... (which hasn't gotten any attention since last year...) :P I just added Julie Ann's site to the page and worked for the first time, on other pages - it just used to be a one page site that held all of my sites' URLs. Hopefully the other pages will be ready to go by the end of the week. :)

I've also been tooling around with a new site idea recently - Yes, I know I should stop all these sites - but really it's something that I enjoy doing more than anything and I've met so many wonderful people through my sites. :) Not only the performers themselves, but other wonderful fans - if it hadn't been for Kevin's site, I never would've met Marina and I would've missed the opportunity to get to know a very special friend. My new site idea is pretty tentative right now - I'm just working on some graphics and some ideas to see if it's feasible to really actively maintain (along with my other sites...) We'll see, I guess. :)

That was really sweet of your friends to call you!

That stinks you are having back pains!!! They stink! I have them from time to time. I wonder what it is about Curves, I mean I love the place... but my ankle bothered me there... my moms knees hurt now... and your back. I cant help but wonder if there should be stretching before hand. Who knows. I havent been there in a week and a half, and the girl had said thats what they are there for, if you dont go - they call and encourage you.... I havent had one call. Thats a bummer. But I will continue with it I think. It was fun when I went... so when my ankle feels better I will go back.

Im rambling, sorry. LOL

Im sure Mark understands your back pain... he is such an awesome guy - you are lucky :-) Im sure he completely understands.

The next time you do make it to LA - you have to let me know so we can at least meet for dinner! :-)

Hope your back feels better very soon! *HUGS*

My friends are the greatest, I love them! :) They SO made my evening! While I was talking with Marina I could hear Bobbie in the background saying, "Tell her about Kevin's British accent!!" :) Gotta love them! :)

And you could be on to something there... The not stretching before exercising might be what's giving everyone problems. :( I thought it was a little strange when they told me the stretching was after the work out. Hope your ankle feels better! :( And hope your Mom's knees are better too! Man, all these ailments from going to Curves... :(

And yes, we must try to get together or something when I'm in LA next. :) Please take care of your ankle and I hope you have a great week. *hugs*

Hmmmmmmmmmm
LA???? Cool right by me. *L* And I love Curves. :-) I haven't had a problem so far and I have been going for about 2 months now. But I do agree.........not stretching before hand is weird to me. But I asked a friend of mine who is a physical therapist and she said that is how she always does it. *shrugs*

Re: Hmmmmmmmmmm
Seems weird to me too that the stretching is done after the work out - since I always thought that stretching prevents the pulling of muscles during the work out. But I guess if a physical therapist says that's the way to do it, I guess we're doing something right. :) And I really never had problems with Curves before - I've been going since April and this is the first time I've had any problems.

Re: Hmmmmmmmmmm
*shrugs* I know. That is how I felt too. So that is why I asked her. She said mostly the stretching is good because it helps you cool down after working out instead of just stopping.

You have wonderful friends. :)

I'm sorry you didn't get to go to LA to see Kevin. I'm also sorry to hear about your back. I hope it feels better. :) *hugs*

My friends are terrific! I'm so glad I'll be seeing them soon (two weekends more!!) :)

Thanks, Carrie. Hopefully whatever is wrong with my back will stop - poor Sydney always jumps up so I can carry her and because of my back, I can't. :( Thanks for your sweet well wishes.

Hope your week goes well and that things are better for you. :) *HUGS*

You are having nice friends. :) I can imagine that you miss them and it's too bad that you couldn't be together with your friends to watch Kevin.

I'm sorry to hear about your back pain. I hope you feel better, soon!

Please, take care of yourself and have a nice week. :)

Thanks, Sabine. :) My friends are really great. :) And I do miss them a lot - and hopefully I'll be able to see them all my next trip to LA. :)

Thanks for your nice wishes for my back - I think that I'm going to stay away from Curves for another day just to make sure it's okay and then I'll try to go back. :)

Hope you have a nice week as well! Please take care! :) *HUGS*

I took gymnastics when I was a kid, too. I'm still pretty flexible from it, I think.

That was sweet of your friends!

I loved gymnastics, but my back is sure paying for it now. :(

And my friends are great, they even took the time to write me long reviews so I could feel like I was there at the Bowl with them. :) Gotta love them!
