Another wasted evening...
Not one thing checked off my "to do" list for my trip. :P I did bring my reading material upstairs for my Continuing Ed classes so at least that's a step in the right direction. :P And I completely blame Bravo and their need to re-play episodes of "West Wing" every darn night for my lack of any progress tonight. :P
Sadly, I think Mark's come down with the flu. :( There must be a virus going around and unfortunately he'd been feeling under the weather the past couple of days. I told him to take a day off of work, but he hasn't called in sick for the past two years or so. I hope he feels better soon.
An old friend stopped by the bank to see me this morning. I hadn't seen her since she left the bank and moved to Virginia several years ago. She apparently was affected by the big lay-offs American Airlines had recently, but luckily she was able to find another job with another airlines right away. She had a little extra time between jobs, so she decided (on a whim) to fly home. She still has her American Airlines flight privileges and it only cost her $120 RT for her and her son... Gosh, I should get a job with the airlines - it would certainly cut down on the tons of money I spend on air fare each year. :P
