I finally got down to business and finished my Firm Element Continuing Ed credit requirements for work! :) I'm so happy because it was looming over my head for quite a while and I kept putting it off... :P Now my name can be taken off those nasty emails that get sent to us from our back office reminding those of us who weren't finished how many days we had left. :P

Last night Mark & I went to eat dinner at Gyotaku, which is a casual and family type Japanese restaurant. It's actually one of our favorite places to eat because the food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the setting is very casual. We ending up eating a lot and still we couldn't use up the GC that Mark's parents got for us... so I guess that means that we'll just have to go back there soon... Not that I'm complaining... ;)

The bus strike is still going on - I certainly hope that they can come to a resolution soon. One of my customers walked to our branch from her home in Hawaii Kai - which is on the other side of the island. :P Boy did I feel bad when she told me that...since I was the one who called her in. :( I was going to offer to drive her home so she didn't have to walk all that way, but she had some errands she had to run in the area... :( I know our island isn't that big, but we still need a reliable public transportation system! :(

I've been spending the better part of my morning on the computer putting the finishing touches on my latest web site. This one was a long time in coming (I actually started planning it waaay back in 2002 after I'd seen Side Show) - though it was stalled because there was just SO much info to research and SO much content, that I didn't get to putting it together until just recently. I don't know yet how it'll go over with the subject of the site, but I've been lucky so far that my sites have been well-received. I think this might be the last site (I have only one more that I may do in the future) that I'll do... Any more would be unrealistic for me to think that I'd be able to actively maintain and wouldn't really be fair to the people I currently maintain sites for... I think it'll be ready to go live tomorrow. :)

There's a "Boy Meets Boy" marathon tomorrow that I think I want to watch... Yes, I usually HATE reality shows, but I kind of got sucked into this one because it was after "Queer Eye" and "West Wing" and I happened to watch it one day. I feel sorry for James and think it's awful that they'd trick him into believing that all his suitors were gay (some of them are straight) and now the final episode is coming up on Tuesday night and I hope that Wes and Franklin aren't straight - though everyone seems to think that Franklin is the straight one. I like them both and want James to be happy... I'll be very sad if it turns out this whole time that Franklin was only "playing a game"... He's adorable...

And UGH! Guess who's in "Parade" at Musical Theatre Guild?? Misty Cotton!! Drat! I was actually going to make a trip there just to see that (and then Kevin announced "Assassins" and I bought tickets for that instead). When all is said and done, I'd MUCH rather see Kevin in "Assassins", but MAN... one of my other all time favorite shows ("Parade") with one of my favorite actresses (Misty)... and I can't see it because it's on the SAME NIGHT as "Assassins" and both are one night only shows! :( "Parade" will be playing the following week in Thousand Oaks, but I can't stay an extra week! :( As it is, it's hard enough for me to get the time that I do get off... :( I know that Misty will be a fabulous Lucille Frank... That SO sucks that I'm missing it... :(

Boy Meets Boy
I know exactly what you mean regarding James & Franklin...Its awful the way the show tricked James into believing all the guys were straight :( I just hope, like you, that Franklin isn't playing a game...We'll have to wait and see, huh?

Re: Boy Meets Boy
Franklin's adorable and seems to really like James. :( But yeah, I guess we'll have to wait and see - part of me is hoping that Brian is the straight one, (because one of the remaining ones is straight) but more likely that it's Franklin. :(

Isn't traffic super bad without the bus being around? I really haven't looked on the news to watch. I did hear about traffic being backed up around the Halawa area till 7 p.m.

Real, REAL bad... :( Two hours on the average to get from Ewa to Kapiolani... :P AND can you believe that lady who walked all the way to Kapiolani from Aina Haina / Hawaii Kai? Crazy, I tell you! :P

I saw that part about someone walking from Hawaii Kai? That is crazy! I wouldn't do that, I'd ride my bike. *L* What time do you leave in the morning?

:P I have to leave before 6am if I want to insure that I get to work by 8am - terrible huh? :P I've got to move closer to work! :(

Ewwwwww! Can you transfer or something later? That bites! My friend works at the airport and he said traffic is so bad.

Oh, I love the food at Gyotaku, have you tried that place in Kunia, Kunio's or something?

I have to go to Kunios - I've heard about it from Mark's parents. :) I love Japanese food! :)

Yes, you gotta! It's so good, they made the resturant a lot bigger. It was really small before.

I haven't seen Boy Meets Boy. I just might catch the marathon. I really hope they get the bus up and running soon. Poor people. :(

I just got through watching the marathon and boy, Franklin is sure adorable... *SIGH* it would be too sad if he was deceiving James this whole time... :(

I hope the buses start running soon too. :( I'm wondering how people who need to catch the Handi-Van (since it's run by the same bus company) are dealing with getting around. :( Poor things! :(
