Well, another long weekend is over... :P
...and really all I have to show for it is some serious tendinitis in my wrist from all the work on the computer that I've been doing lately... :P I've been working on another unofficial site for another one of my favorite performers, Misty Cotton - who I had seen in "Side Show" and "Anyone Can Whistle" (and just missed by days in "Spitfire Grill" :P). The site was actually planned all the way back a year and a half ago after I had seen "Side Show" - but there was just too much research that needed to be done and too much info to collect that it got put off for a while. (Misty works SO much - I think she and Kevin must work the most in LA) :) If anyone is interested, here's the link:

Misty's Unofficial Site

Yes, I know that all my sites tend to have a similar look to them. :P I haven't made the link public yet... Not sure how well it will go over with Misty, and I just wanted to get some general feedback before I tell her about it. Like I've always said, I know that I'm not a professional or anything (clearly!) but I do try to put a lot of care into all of my sites and that should count for something, right? ;) And any opinions you may have on it would be greatly appreciated...

We just came back from dinner at the in-laws where we got to see Mark's cousins and their baby for the first time. :) I really enjoy talking with Mark's cousin Tricia, she and I seem to have a lot in common - so much that it borders on scary sometimes. She loves to scrapbook and take photos like I do, LOVES musical theatre (and we have the same taste in shows too!), and some people even say that we look alike... It's a shame that they live so far away, because if we all lived closer I know that we'd be great friends. :) Although I like Mark's family and they're all really great to me, I've never really had anything in common with them - interest wise. Tricia is the first in the family that I feel a real connection with. It's a shame we only see them maybe once a year. :(

And Sydney seemed a little upset at the in-laws tonight. With Tricia's baby there, she wasn't the center of attention like she usually is and I think she was a little sad about that. :P As we were leaving Tricia said, "Now you have to hurry up and have one too so they can play together." :) Ummm...Riley will probably have to wait quite a while for a playmate if they wait for us...

And where the heck did the weekend go? :P I have to go back to work tomorrow and I thought this long weekend would be enough to re-charge me for another week of no-bus-traffic and cranky customers... but it hasn't. :( Somehow the extra two hours a day that I've spent on the road this week in traffic has made a real difference in how tired I've been - and I'm not entirely sure why that is. :P

Wow Sheri, how do you make such nice sites like that! The ones that I make are just using tripod's little sitebuilder thing. That's really cool how you design your own!

Awww Meredyth, you're such a sweetheart! :) Thanks for your nice words about the site. :) I love your sites, they're wonderful! I know a lot of hard work and dedication goes into them and it really shows. :)

BTW, I tried to get to your site for Diana this morning and I couldn't - for some reason. :( Maybe it's just my computer? Diana and Sandra must be so pleased that you have put so much time and effort into their sites. :)

Take care! *HUGS*

Awww thanks! I'm glad you like them. Yeah my Diana site isn't working properly at the moment. I think it has something to do with tripod being it's stupid self. Hopefully it'll be fine later. I'll keep trying it today and see what's going on. =)

Nice site you have for Misty! =D Sheri, you really make some of the nicest sites around. Very classy and informative.

Thanks so much for your kind comments, Joy! And I hope you don't mind but I've linked your Dina Lynne site - seems she and Misty acted together in Miss Saigon. If you want me to take the link down, please let me know.

I do like Misty's site. You are doing a good work with your sites. Look, you can say that I'm not "into the musical theatre scene" (hope you know the way I mean it) but always when I visited one of your sites I wish I would know more about that and I stay longer with your site as I actually had planed it. :)

And where the heck did the weekend go?

Weekends have got the characteristic that they are passing much too quick. Lately, I told a friend that, if I could manage it, I always would be there where the weather is nice and where it's still weekend. :)

Hope you had a nice day. *hugs*

Sabine, you are SUCH a dear and I think you've made my day with your thoughtful post! Thank you SO MUCH for your kind words - they certainly mean a lot to me. :)

Ah! I'd love to go to a place where there is an endless supply of weekends too. ;) Hope you are doing well. :) Take care! *big HUGS*! :)

i know what you mean about the holiday weekend. but don't you look forward to the next weekend, being that there's only 4 working day's left?? hehehehe...i'm so optomistic, aren't i?
Sherishutterbug93 on September 2nd, 2003 11:22 pm (UTC)
Heehee - optimism is great and you're right, four days till the weekend is much better than five! At least the traffic was better today and not TOO many annoying customers, right? :P

BTW, I found an Official site for you to check out of your boy Dan from "Boy Meets Boy" - Dan Wells Official Site And for the record, I'm still all about Franklin, and I haven't seen the show yet...

I can totally relate to the tendonits thing....except I also get sore shoulders from too much computer, and then I wonder....why do I do this to myself...and I never have an answer.
Sherishutterbug93 on September 3rd, 2003 08:59 am (UTC)
I always have to ask myself the same thing. :P I work really long hours on the computer during the weekend and I totally pay for it during the week. :( I guess despite it all, I really like what I do. :) Hope all is well with you! :)
