Oh, Thank Heaven!!! -- part 2...
...My Mom got a call from the doctor last night and thankfully the tests she took for her kidneys were negative, so at least the worst that we expected isn't a possibility now. Whew! :) Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers - I really don't know what I'd do if anything bad ever happened to her.
Speaking of being thankful - Sydney is back to her old self again after that awful tick incident. She's eating, jumping on furniture, and basically being the demanding dog she once was. :) It's nice to have her back. :) And we've been checking, but we haven't found anymore ticks, so hopefully the problem is gone.
And I'm not sure why, but I got into a HUGE "I want to go back to school" mood today at work... It was strange - it all started when I tried to apply for those adult ed web design classes (remember they canceled my last class?) for the new semester. I spoke with an instructor who told me the class seemed too general for my needs and I should enroll in the credit classes they offer. So, after looking at their catalog online, I thought "Wow - I might actually be able to get a second degree in this..." since I already took most of the pre-requisite classes for my BA... Well, I'm still thinking about it, but I'm thinking a second degree in digital media production is not a bad thing, all in all. I don't even know if it's feasible (while still working full time) but I'm going to call tomorrow to set up a meeting with a counselor to talk about it... :P
And woo hoo! It looks like Julie Ann's show "Line of Fire" was picked up by a station in the UK. :) I hesitate to put the info on her site, though since Kevin once told me not to believe everything about the show that I read. I guess it's better if I wait until I hear it more officially. :P BTW, Julie Ann's episodes of "Taken" are going to begin re-airing next week Sunday on Sci Fi (this week they're only up to episode three - and she's in four, five, and six) if anyone wants to see GREAT acting, tune in, Julie's wonderful in the role. :)
Again, thanks for all of your prayers for my Mom. :) Big *hugs* to you all! :)
