pleasedMark called the vet today to get more pills for Sydney and she told him that Sydney no longer needs to be on the antibiotics! :) She's still on the Actigall for her liver, but it's such good news that our pessimistic vet thinks she's well enough to stop her other pills. :) I can't believe that just three weeks ago we thought she wouldn't even be with us for the holidays. :( Thanks again to everyone for all your support through her illness and for all your good thoughts and prayers for her! :)
In Thanksgiving news - I almost went insane at the grocery store buying a pie to take to my uncle's house tomorrow night. There were so many people there, it was ridiculous! Since I'm the world's least domestic person, I bought a Ted's bakery chocolate cream pie to take with us. :) Hopefully my relatives aren't looking forward to a traditional dessert like pumpkin pie or anything... I guess I'm still having a little bit of trouble with this traditional cuisine - I'm just not used to it. ;) Luckily my family loves chocolate so it shouldn't be a problem. :)
And I guess Kevin's still in LA. Not sure when he's leaving, but he did say that he'll be spending his birthday in NYC, so he should be leaving sometime this weekend. I can't wait to see him in the show! I'm looking forward to seeing him in his "Trevor Graydon" suit and seeing him dance with Angela Christian (and I adore Kevin but he's not really a dancer. Though I have to say I was REALLY impressed with his dancing in "Follies") :) AND hearing him sing "The Speed Test". :) Is it January yet? :P
