drainedIn non - "Line of Fire" news - I have only a half a day of work tomorrow and I'm so glad! I've been so tired lately that it's been hard for me to stay up past 9pm. :P The branch breakfast was wonderful and the Secret Santa went well - my person still doesn't know it was me. :) And I got a lovely porcelain rice bowl set from my Secret Santa. It's really nice and will come in handy at our house! :)
There was one thing I wish I could change about today, though - I made the terrible mistake of going to the mall on my lunch break. :P I wanted to get one last gift for Mark but the stores were just...ridiculous! :P People were losing their patience, the parking situation was totally out of hand, the sales people looked so overworked and as if they had lost their patience a long time ago. :( I did find what I was looking for, but I now remember why it's a BAD idea to go to the mall on Dec 23rd. :P Never again, I learned my lesson! :P
On a much happier note, a few of my clients came in to visit me today and brought me some things (from avocados from their yard to flowers for my desk) for Christmas. :) They really brightened my day and I'm always so amazed at their thoughtfulness. :) I'm really going to miss them when I leave next week. :(
And lastly, I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas Eve tomorrow -- however you choose to spend it. :) Mark & I usually stay home and watch a movie together. :) Then it's off to the family parties on Christmas day. :) Please stay safe and have a wonderful Christmas Eve! :)
